We just started a NoveList subscription, I'm not sure if it's our scripts conflicting with theirs. I can replicate the problem in the Los Gatos catalog (they also use NoveList). I tried to replicate on non-NoveList OPACs like NEXpress and Plum Creek but the series searching keeps giving me 404s and empty searches. Screencast: http://screencast.com/t/TLV0G4xfgPN To replicate: Search a title with a series (i.e. The Hunger Games) Click into the record Click on the series to search it Click on a title in the search results If Firefox doesn't crash, it gives the unresponsive script message (seen in the screencast) Setting OpacHighlightedWords to Don't Highlight fixes the problem. We may go this route but I wanted to make you aware of the problem. The total at the bottom of this column is the total fines, not total charges. Therefore, the situation can arise where the list of charges each contains 0.00 in the charge column, but the total contains a different value entirely, for example: Item 1 : 0.00 Item 2 : 0.00 Total : 8.00 The charges column is not the same as fines, so the charges total shouldn't be displaying the fines total. A possible solution might be to include a column for fines in addition to the charges column (possibly instead of the replacement price field, which is of little use in this table). The problem is that these options appear even if you have already received an item. I don't think we need to remove the edit option in this case (but maybe we should) but we certainly should remove the delete option. There is no warning there or block to stop you from doing this. If this is the intended behavior then we need a warning that says saving this will overwrite the original notice with this code - or we need a way to prevent creation of notices with the same code. Is anybody interested in such changes? "Would it be possible to change things on the “new purchase suggestion” page in the catalog? Here’s what it currently looks like below. Could the “Notes” be changed to “Reason”. Notes seems a little ambivalent. Could we change the second sentence at the top to start, “Only the title, author and reason is required,…” In titles for research, there are titles that are very close if not identical, especially dealing with critiques. I’m thinking if the reason is pleasure reading I can just process and handle. If it is for class research, we can refer to the liaison for evaluation." I have attached the image she submitted to us.
