I just tried to install Koha 3.18.04.000 to Linux koha 3.2.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.2.65-1+deb7u2 x86_64 GNU/Linux (mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.5.41, for debian-linux-gnu (x86_64) using readline 6.2). I just tried to alter patron permissions: click the 'More' button on the top right of the patron profile and choose 'Set Permissions', but I can not choose the permissions. At the end of the month, the librarian uploads the .txt files using the inventory tool. The problem is that some of the items have been checked out over the course of that month. For example, perhaps the item was on the shelf in August and was scanned by a volunteer, but then the item was checked out to a patron in September. When the librarian uploads the text file later in September, Koha updates the date last seen to today, even though the real date last seen is the date that the item was checked out to the patron. The librarian would prefer that the inventory tool were enhanced so that it's smart enough to skip any items that are currently checked out at the time the .txt file is uploaded. For this library, inventory is a long process that is not done in 'real time,' so their use of the inventory tool is a bit different from how it was designed to be used. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

However, we've found that when clicking on a linked total amount in the "Spent" column, payments whose Item Records have been deleted are no longer there. These payments still show up in the baskets and invoices. In other words, this table of total funds on the Acq main page is obviously driven by baskets and/or invoices, since the totals are accurate, so we're wondering why, when clicking on a total, the individual payments are obviously not driving by the baskets/invoices, but rather the item records, as it seems. If a biblio-level hold is placed, and all items are checked out, the 'Renew' check-box in the 'Checked out' tab in circ/circulation.pl will be replaced by the text 'On Hold'. If the checked out item has an item level hold on it, the 'Renew' check box *will* show, and no 'On Hold' text will display.
