Test Plan: 1) Create a record with two items, one for library A and one for library B 2) Set your circulation rules such that the book from library A is holdable by all and the book from library B is holdable only by library B patrons 3) Create a hold for a Library C patron for pickup at library C 4) Set the syspref StaticHoldsQueueWeight to by Library B, Library A, Library C in that order 5) Rebuild the holds queue 6) Note the hold wasn't picked up even though the item from library A could have filled the hold -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. The location of these fields is defined in the system preference MarcFieldsToOrder from bug 7180. The workflow is thus: 1) A librarian uploads an "order record" file, and marks the batch as an order file during the staging process. 2) The librarian selects an acquisitions basket and chooses "from a staged order file" 3) From here, the librarian can view all the records that will be created, along with quantity and other data ( from bug 7180 ). The librarian will *not* see the item fields, as those are automatically created using the minimum data needed ( branches, itype ). 4) The librarian hits "save" and the items are automatically generated on order. Later ( using features not directly tied to this feature ), the librarian will receive a new marc batch file with items attached ( including itemnumbers ). The vendor will have this information because it was sent via EDI ( bug 7736 ). Items that are created through original cataloging have the items.permanent_location set to the items.location value. This causes serious issues when items are circulated and the library is using the CART/PROC system preferences. It remains on the patron's record but is still linked to the original bib record making it impossible to find/delete/confirm.
