by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 20 Jun '16

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=16315 Bug ID: 16315 Summary: OPAC Shelfbrowser doesn't display the full title Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 3.22 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: OPAC Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: david.roberts(a)ptfs-europe.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org The OPAC shelf browser function uses the title from biblio.title database field, which means it only displays the 245$a. The remainder of the title (in the 245$b and $c) doesn't display. An example of this can be seen here: https://sthlibraries.koha-ptfs.co.uk/cgi-bin/koha/opac-detail.pl?biblionumb… It would be better if the whole title could be displayed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=15682 Bug ID: 15682 Summary: Merging records from cataloguing search only allows to merge 2 records Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com Reporter: katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl When merging from the list, you can now merge multiple records. But when merging from the cataloguing search, a javascript alert tells you that only 2 records can be selected for merging. Obviously... both should work the same and allow for multiple records to be merged at once. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 16088] New: Excessive CGI->new() calls hurting cache performace under plack
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 18 Jun '16

18 Jun '16

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=16088 Bug ID: 16088 Summary: Excessive CGI->new() calls hurting cache performace under plack Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com Reporter: abl(a)biblos.pk.edu.pl QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Under plack, CGI->new is overriden (in misc/plack/koha.psgi etc.) - we are flushing L1 syspref cache in there. C4::Language::getlanguage() subroutine calls CGI->new().. Problem is, getlanguage() is getting called surprisingly often in Koha (e.g., ~100 times per single catalogue search), and that hurts syspref caching performance under plack very significantly. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 16290] New: "Name of Season" description in numbering pattern erases everything ahead of it in numbering formula
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 18 Jun '16

18 Jun '16

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=16290 Bug ID: 16290 Summary: "Name of Season" description in numbering pattern erases everything ahead of it in numbering formula Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Serials Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: kholten(a)switchinc.org QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: colin.campbell(a)ptfs-europe.com When the "Name of Season" formatting is used, any text put in front of the season is erased from the numbering pattern. This does not seem to affect the "Name of Day" or "Name of Month" formatting options. To test: 1) Go into Serials > Manage Numbering Patterns. 2) Select edit for the "Seasonal" numbering pattern included in the default installation of Koha. 3) Type 'TEST' in front of the numbering formula, so that it reads 'TEST {X} {Y}'. 4) Make sure the X value uses the "Name of Season" formatting. 5) Create a test prediction pattern. 6) Notice that the string "TEST" is erased from the front of the prediction pattern. You will see that anything put in front of the season is erased. If you put a variable like X, Y or Z in front of the pattern, that variable will be erased as well. 7) Change the numbering formula to '{X} TEST {Y}" 8) Create a test prediction pattern. 9) Notice that so long as data is behind the "Name of Season" formatting, it will still display. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. I propose that the "trash" icon be used anywhere something is being deleted, removed, or cleared: http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/icon/trash/ I propose that we use the "times" (for which "remove" is an alias) icon for cancel operations (where buttons are used): http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/icon/times/ I propose that we use the "times-circle" icon to mean "close:" http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/icon/times-circle/ -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
