However, the problem of still exists as swagger.json grows larger with each new path. We should do the same split as Bug 15126 did, but for paths and parameters. I propose the following structure for paths: . ├── swagger.json ├── definitions │ └── index.json │ └── error.json │ └── patron.json ├── parameters │ └── index.json │ └── patron.json └── paths ├── index.json └── patrons.json Also Swagger should specify the required permissions for each resource. We can do this by adding "x-koha-permission"-field for each path, and using this field when checking for the needed permissions. Map biblio.frameworkcode to 999$b 2. Map biblio.biblionumber to 999$c 3. Add a record with something in 999$b 4. 999$b is removed by C4::Biblio::AddBiblio() After this patch, the field used by biblio.biblionumber or biblioitems.biblioitemnumber is not removed and created anew, thus dropping all existing additions. We expect (and sometimes depend on) things like Apache and MySQL(MariaDB) telling us when they are restarting during upgrades, I think we should treat our daemons the same way. This can cause numerous issues and difficulties making sure memcached is enabled for all cron scripts, for plack, etc. I propose we cache the koha conf file in a separate namespace with the caching still defined in environment variables, but move the memcached configuration for everything else back into the koha conf file itself. This would allow us to continue caching everything, but even if the cache for the koha-conf file is not configured for a given process, it would allow all other data to still be cached and used.
