In our current library system, we use long loans (loans with a guaranteed minimum due date, but a much much longer hard due date), with a recall function. This is only in use for parts of the content. Koha does not support this, so we're looking at using auto renewal as a method to give a reasonable resemblance of long loans. We also want advance notices to be sent when the due date is about to arrive, but having an advance notice and then an automatic renewal shortly after will produce a multitude of notices that will be considered as faulty by the end user. To replicate: 1/ Set quryautotruncate to 'only if * is added'. 2/ Run a keyword search, with quotes around the title, e.g. "The Hobbit" Seearch will fail 3/ Set quryautotruncate to 'always' 4/ Re-run the same search. If we could edit a fund without adding an order to a basket, for example, MARC Record charges that are a flat fee from a vendor. Changed options are not taken into account. Same for koha-restart-zebra btw. Koha-plack implements its restart by doing a daemon --stop and daemon --start. It is now possible to retrieve the authority records as well as every kind of bibliographical records. The problem is that according to server profile (http://www.bnf.fr/documents/profilZ3950_bnf_en.pdf) it is needed to use attribute 2016 and 2017 to search for authority record. • Search attributes are hardcoded in function Z3950SearchAuth in Breeding.pm (and there is no attribute 2016 and 2017). • BnF does not have SRU server (and even if it had, you can't add authority SRU server to Koha right now).
