[Bug 17561] New: ReserveSlip needs itemnumber for item level holds on same biblio
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Oct '18

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=17561 Bug ID: 17561 Summary: ReserveSlip needs itemnumber for item level holds on same biblio Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: benjamin.rokseth(a)kul.oslo.kommune.no QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com With bug 14695 patrons can now place multiple holds on same biblio. The ReserveSlip function used by hold-transfer-slip.pl though doesn't take itemnumber as param, so any item returned belonging to the same patron's reservation on the same biblio will trigger the same slip, which is the first match. It itemnumber (or barcode) is included in request to ReserveSlip, the correct hold slip should be returned. GetReserveId used in ReserveSlip takes itemnumber anyways, so it makes sense to include it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 18570] New: Password recovery e-mail only sent after message queue is processed
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Oct '18

24 Oct '18

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=18570 Bug ID: 18570 Summary: Password recovery e-mail only sent after message queue is processed Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Authentication Assignee: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com Reporter: jens.weber(a)phsh.ch QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: dpavlin(a)rot13.org The password recovery process triggers an e-mail to the patron with a link to reset his or her password. This e-mail is put into the message queue like any other notification (e.g. filled HOLD) and hence only sent the next time process_message_queue.pl is triggered with the time setting in cron.d (the default here being every 15 minutes!). This behavior is not what a user would expect from such a function (especially not with the wording from opac-password-recovery.tt: 'An email **has been sent**'). Accordingly -- even though this is not a malfunction -- I flagged this a bug and not an enhancement, as from the point of view of the patron it must seem to be a bug/problem if the e-mail does not arrive in a normal time span. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 16833] New: printoverduefaq is out of date

The print notices for holds are different -- there's a separate HOLD_PRINT notice file and the system uses it if there's no email address. Then a nightly cron job runs to gather those up from the message queue and put them in an HTML file in the notice directory, as above. The cron entry is gather_print_notices.pl /tmp/noticedir" This is out of date in the following respects: 1) HOLD_PRINT no longer exists -- this is handled by the print message under the HOLD letter. 2) gather_print_notices.pl now supports printing overdue notices. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
