The patches that will be developed to provide this functionality will store recommendation data persistently so that previous issues information does not have to be kept in the local instance database which would violate the US Patriot Act and French Law. To replicate: 'Received on' check 'row' Filter: From: 01/01/2016 To: 12/31/2016 (or use a date range that corresponds to acquisitions on your system) 'Collection code' check 'column' Filter: Select 'All' Cell value Choose 'Count items' Output Choose 'To screen into the browser' Click Submit. You will see columns of collection codes, with each row being a separate date. All collection codes will be displayed. Use the browser's back button, change the collection code 'Collection code' check 'column' Filter: Select 'Music' (or a collection code on your system) Click submit. We would expect to see a single column showing the 'Music' collection code -- instead we see all collection codes again. It would make more sense to return a list of Koha::Patrons. On the way, the code from AnonymiseIssueHistory will be moved as well to anonymise_issue_history. Note that these 2 subroutines are strongly linked: one is used to know the number of patrons we will anonymise the history, the other one is used to anonymise the issues history. The problem is that the first one is not used to do the action, but only for displayed purpose. In some cases, these 2 values can differ, which could be confusing. Case 1: The logged in librarian is not superlibrarian and IndependentBranches is set: if 2+ patrons from different libraries match the date parameter, the interface will display "Checkout history for 2 patrons will be anonymized", when actually only 1 will be. Case 2: If 2+ patrons match the date parameter but one of them has his privacy set to forever (privacy=0), the same issue will appear. The patches provided will refactor the code and fix these 2 issues. The enhancement suggested here in this report is to allow Koha to enter a number of different day intervals between fines, i.e. define several "Fine charging interval" in sequence. The rationale is to distribute the fines unevenly to the Patron over time. E.g. with the new feature: First fine Patron after 2 days with 50 SEK then wait for 5 more days to add second fine with 50 SEK then wait for another 7 days with 50 SEK. They think they are able to renew their books but in fact they aren't allowed to do this. The problem is when the "OpacRenewalAllowed" is disabled, these buttons stay there and/or keep the same appearance.
