https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=19938 Bug ID: 19938 Summary: Refactor C4::Overdues::checkoverdues Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: mtompset(a)hotmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com While retesting a bug, I ran a prove -r -v t, which generated a lot of log noise. One such entry was: [Tue Jan 9 03:54:58 2018] starman: Use of uninitialized value $overdues_count in numeric gt (>) at /home/vagrant/kohaclone/opac/opac-main.pl line 76. The $overdues_count was set by a call to checkoverdues. Reading the code I noticed someone actually commented: # returning the count and the results is silly So, this is a refactor of the function and all the calls. It was surprisingly small. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 15851] New: "Analytics: Show analytics" showing regardless of whether they have analytics.
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 07 Aug '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=15851 Bug ID: 15851 Summary: "Analytics: Show analytics" showing regardless of whether they have analytics. Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com Reporter: ed.veal(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl All of records where position 7 of the leader indicates serial automatically display "Analytics: Show analytics" -- regardless of whether they have analytics. To confirm, we linked numerous items to host records in the case where monographic volumes were bound together via the "Link to Host Item" feature, automatically creating 773s. These are not in question and we do not want to make any changes that would affect them. The request is to remove the display "Analytics: Show analytics" for periodical records that do not have analytics. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 17015] New: New Koha Calendar
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 05 Aug '26

05 Aug '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=17015 Bug ID: 17015 Summary: New Koha Calendar Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Holidays Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: mehdi.hamidi(a)inlibro.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org We are trying to create a new Koha calendar system. The one available right now is way too slow. This is the first patch of the calendar, it doesn't affect the functioning of the current calendar, but it works in parallel with it. Instead of having multiple tables for the holidays, we created one table, called discrete_calendar. This table contains the dates, branchcode, opening/closing hours, a note about the holiday and whether the library is open or not. The script misc/generate_discrete_calendar.pl fills the table discrete_calendar based on tables : repeatable_holidays, special_holidays, openinghours and branches. The script, by default, will add 2 years from the past and 1 year in the future in the table discrete_calendar. It also has an option to added more than 1 year in the future. The script misc/cronjobs/add_days_discrete_calendar.pl will add days in the future in the table discrete calendar. A day's opening and closing hours will be based on the same weekday from the week before. It will also check if the same day from last year was a holiday, if so, this will be counted as a holiday. The script makes sur there's at least 1 year in the future. So if it hasn't ran for 8 days, 8 days will be added in he future the next time the script is executed. There's also an atomic update to create the table. The current options are not final and they can be changed for convenience. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 18623] New: Send notification on creation of manual invoice

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=18623 Bug ID: 18623 Summary: Send notification on creation of manual invoice Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Notices Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: lisetteslatah(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org It would be nice if when adding a manual invoice (say for a damaged item) an e-mail notification could be sent. Currently to tell the patron without them logging into the OPAC or coming into the library we have to send the e-mail manually. This is time consuming if we have a lot of damaged items being processed at once. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 19557] New: Saved Filters from Advanced Search in OPAC

22 Jul '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=19557 Bug ID: 19557 Summary: Saved Filters from Advanced Search in OPAC Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: OPAC Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: jzairo(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org If a patron performs an advanced search on the OPAC, the filters (that they selected on the advanced search page) will not save if the patron searches then edits the search box on the results page. Steps 1) Click on the advanced search link 2) Search for keyword or title in your collection 3) Your brief results page populates 4) This will give you a breadcrumb trail of your advanced search (RESULTS OF SEARCH FOR 'KW,WRDL: FLORIDA NOT KW,WRDL: TRAVEL' 5) select a facet on the left to filter your results 6) now search in the search box on cgi-bin/koha/opac-search.pl While Koha treats this as a new search, it would be great to have an option for the patron to modify that original advanced search -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
