Uninstalling should clean up/delete the plugins data, which is not always what you will want while waiting for a broken plugin to be fixed or updated. It would also allow us to disable plugins failing the version check suggested in bug 21557. They need to be parsed to find out the root cause of the problems. Other details carry over but the main address is empty. I tested on a 17.11 instance and the feature works correctly there. To Replicate: 1) Install/be running 18.05.04 2) Create or find an adult patron account you want to test with; make sure they have an address - street, city, etc. 3) On the Details tab of the patron's record click on the "+Add child" button. 4) See that the main address text boxes are empty on the /cgi-bin/koha/members/memberentry.pl?op=add&guarantorid=... page. We know this worked with Zebra. But with Elasticsearch it don't. Our current system preference settings is the following: AutoCreateAuthorites: no. BiblioAddsAuthorities: no. UseAuthoritiesForTracing: yes. CatalogModuleRelink: yes. LinkerKeepStale: yes. LinkerModule: Default. LinkerOptions: broader_headings LinkerRelink: yes In the future we want to AutoCreateAuthorites when matching authority headings does not exist. The link_bibs_to_authorities.pl runs normally with no errors but no bibliographic records are linked to matching authority records.
