This means that if the file is updated, the cache is automatically invalid. This is cumbersome enough, but it's even more cumbersome when a record has multiple holds (especially 20+), and the hold has to be replaced and manually back in its original priority order. It would be nice if Koha could allow you to reset a hold back to record level after it's been placed, for all cases, including when it's in transit for a patron. Situations arise where an item arrives damaged or is lost in transit and a new item is needed to fulfill the hold. This creates big issues when trying to pay amounts correctly. For example: Trying to pay 9,55. Go into the input field and change 9 to 5, Koha will turn it into 555.00. Prices currently need to all be displayed with decimal dot in input fields. Please fix urgently. This is bad design and leads to superflous 'types' in reality. Examples: * 'FU' (fine "updating") becomes 'F' (fine) once it's 'fixed'. * 'FU' (fine "updating") may become 'FFOR' (fine "forgiven"). * 'L' (lost item) may become 'LR' (lost returned). * 'Rep' (replaced?) may become 'LR' (lost returned). * 'W' (writeoff) may become 'LR' (lost returned).
