However, the alert that comes along with this new system preference is not a welcome addition to the libraries that are using Cart to Shelf functionality. Prior to this, cart to shelf functionality was a backend process that would (without staff interaction) take an item that was checked in, move it to the cart. Now, when an item is checked in (at the system preference UpdateItemLocationOnCheckin has the value _ALL: CART - each time an item is checked in, the staff get a large yellow message box and an alert. If we add a class to this message or even 2 classes this would allow these alert/audio to be turned off for those libraries that don't wish to receive this yellow alert box with every checkin. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. Setting the Default Privacy setting to 'Default' means that keeping a reading history becomes an opt-out where a patron has to turn it off in their patron account from the OPAC. Setting the Default Privacy setting to 'Never' means that keeping a reading history becomes an opt-in where a patron has to turn it on through their patron account. This becomes a problem either way when working with patrons who are unable or unwilling to login to their patron account to select their preferred option. This is because at the moment when merge function is being called by ModAuthority Koha::Authority::Types->find($autfrom->authtypecode) Koha::Authority::Types->find($authto->authtypecode) both have the same value (because $autfrom == $autfrom). Therefore the authtype guessed from the old version of the record should be considered. To test: 1) have an authority record used in biblio; export it to file; change 1XX heading tag to different (but reasonable) value and possibly change also the content of the heading (one can delete also 942 but it doesn't matter); make bulkmarcimport.pl -a -update -file <modified_auth_file> and see that the tag in biblio record has not been changed (whereas the type of authority record did change); 2) make orders in database (so that the authority type and the tag of the field in biblio record correspond); apply the patch; 3) repeat the test from 1). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
