However, for the sipserver, if CheckPrevCheckout is set to "Do" then the checkout is blocked with a generic "1" code and the checkout is refused by the self check. There is an argument that this is correct but, it is more likely that libraries would want to allow the checkout in this scenario as there is no explanation to the block and, most likely, it would be a genuine transaction. This creates an annoyance for libraries where most of the labels they print use other selections. It'd be helpful to have some mechanism to make those dropdowns default to something else. Prior to bug 21073 this was mostly possible by enabling plugins in the config but making the plugin path read only to the apache user. In this way users could not upload new plugins, but support providers could add plugins at the users request. This did have the caveat that 'install', 'update' and 'remove' routines in the plugin would not be called. I fixed it modifying kohastructure.sql, changing borrower_modifications structure (remove default value of changed_fields) There is another solution? Create an Adult Patron 2. Create a New Patron - choosing a Child category 3. Add Surname, First Name, search for Guarantor in database- choose Guarantor. 4. Guarantor's address does not populate for Child Account. The way to do this which does work: 1. Create an Adult Patron 2. Click Add Child from Adult Patron's form. 3. Add surname, First name of Child 4. See the Guarantor's address is populated already. From an Adult Account, choose Add Guarantee 2. On the Guarantee's account, you will see the Guarantor's information already linked to the guarantee's account. Currently 19.11 1. From an Adult Account , choose Add Guarantee 2. On the Guarantee's account, Koha is asking for staff to search and apply the guarantor to the record, although the guarantor is where this process started. 3.
