[Bug 25390] New: Login box is removed from opac-main.tt if Shibboleth or CAS is enabled
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 28 Apr '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=25390 Bug ID: 25390 Summary: Login box is removed from opac-main.tt if Shibboleth or CAS is enabled Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: OPAC Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: lucas(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org On the OPAC main page (opac-main.tt) if CAS or Shibboleth are enabled than we remove the login box on the right side of the page (#login). I am wondering if this is necessary: 1. It does not remove local login functionality as you can still login via the modal in the top right corner. 2. In multi library systems this can be a problem as some might use a SSO service while others would like to see the login box on the right side. 3. Maybe it would be simpler to keep the login box regardless of sign in method and hide it via CSS for libraries that don't want it? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 26461] New: Incorrect handling of hold levels in SIP2 code
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 21 Apr '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=26461 Bug ID: 26461 Summary: Incorrect handling of hold levels in SIP2 code Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: SIP2 Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: nick(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: colin.campbell(a)ptfs-europe.com This may need to be split into 2 bugs, but problems are related. The SIP2 specification lists two fields for holds requests: AB - item identifier AJ - title identifier 1 - When placing a hold via SIP we always place a title level hold but only use the 'item identifier' to determine the biblio 2 - When cancelling a hold we use the 'item identifier' to identify the item and will only cancel an item level hold We should allow the use of the 'title identifier' for placing holds, and we should place an item level hold if 'item identifier' is passed or title level if 'title identifier' is passed with no item identifier We should do the same for cancelling. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 16786] New: No longer to add multiple emails addresses in an email field

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=16786 Bug ID: 16786 Summary: No longer to add multiple emails addresses in an email field Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com Reporter: kyle(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Previous to Koha 3.22, it was possible to enter multiple comma separated email addresses in a patron's email field. This allowed a patron to opt to receive a copy of any given email in more than one address! Now the email validation disallows this, but there is no technical reason to disallow it as far as I am aware. The email validator should be updated to supported multiple comma separated email addresses in any given email field. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 25673] New: Access logging of borrower's personal information
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 20 Apr '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=25673 Bug ID: 25673 Summary: Access logging of borrower's personal information Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Staff Client Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: joonas.kylmala(a)helsinki.fi QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com Blocks: 18081 I don't know if this is directly related to GDPR but at least this seems like a good practice: create a log if a librarian has accessed a Koha page in intranet that contains borrower's personal information. This way the library can make sure by auditing the logs that nobody has for example downloaded all the borrowers' info en masse with screen scraping. Currently this is a bit hard to implement in Koha since borrower's personal info is displayed on many many pages, but to ease this we should think if displaying borrower's real name is necessary or would a cardnumber or borrowernumber be better.
