This is because auto-truncate feature change the query "an:1" to "an:1*". Bibliographic Information Suggestion Information Acquisition Information Suggestion Information gives an option to tick to " Include Archived: " but does not have this option for Bibliographic Information. To search archived using Bibliographic Information you must open the Suggestion Information column, tick "Include Archived" and close or finish your search from Bibliographic Information. It would a good quality of life feature to have "Include Archive" also available under Bibliographic Information or located outside the search boxes so that you do not need to needlessly open all the columns to search anyway. If this is not possible perhaps having results include archived by default to prevent button cluster. We should extend those options. First, it'd be good to make the password requirement a separate question, thereby allowing cardnumber+password and username alone. This is because quick add brief form creates a clone of inputs in the original form. An input with date picker is changed and linked to Javascript code (see calendar.inc) so it can not be cloned. Note also that creating a clone of an input in another form does not update the form value in its DOM. It can generate errors. In my opinion this feature should be reconsidered to hide unwanted fields instead of cloning wanted ones.
