Problem is when OPACPatronDetails is enabled, a validation is required even thought no modifications are made in the account. It can be quite time consuming to validate these non-modifications. Could we imagine a way to avoid this task ? The prompt says to enter one or the other. Since there is the possibility for more than one account to have the same e-mail address, should we only ask for the username? The second thought is, should Koha e-mail the account user if a request has been made to reset the password? For some catalogers, the permission to add an item to an item group is all they should be able to do in this workflow, but currently, once this overarching item group permission is granted, they can also create groups.
