We would love to have an idea as to why this is happening. When we create a new item instead of incrementing to the next number it adds another digit example of our barcode is now 1000000019499147 if I add another item to this record the barcode would be 10000000194991471 notice an additional number is added at the end. Ensure a Fast Add framework exists with some required fields 2. Pull up a patron and their checkout screen. 3. Scan a barcode or type a title that is not in the system to trigger the Barcode not found warning. 4. Click +Add record using fast cataloging 5. Fill in Fast Add form 6. Try to save and see nothing happens. Work around is to open a second tab and go to Cataloging Module, Fast Add Cataloging. Especially the "Adjustments" and "Invoice details sections". Getting there is a bit complicated because you must go through the whole acquisition process. I did a simplified test plan, but don't hesitate to ask if you're not sure how to do something, I can certainly expand it if it's needed. 1. If needed, create budgets, funds and vendors 2. In acquisitions, create a basket for a vendor 3. Add an item to the basket (easiest is "From a new (empty) record") 4. Close the basket 5. Receive the item 6. View the invoice --> Notice how the size of the text in the "Invoice details" section is very big compared to the rest (the rest of the page, and the rest of Koha) 7. This is probably due to the fact that at that stage no branches have yet been created for the instance.
