The buttons advance to the next screen as expected (back to the main Inventory setup page for 'Mark seen and quit' and to the next page for 'Mark seen and continue'), but items' last seen date isn't updated. You need to have an ldap server containing patron informations configured in Koha. 1. Apply patch and update database. 2. Check that the new system preference SearchCardnumberWithLDAP has been added and set as 'never'. 3. Choose a patron who exists in your ldap server but not in Koha. (you can delete an existing patron from Koha if needed) 4. Search for the patron by it's cardnumber in the following locations. Do not choose from the dropdown list, use the submit button. - circ/circulation.pl - circ/article-request.pl - reserve/request.pl - members/member.pl both at the top and in the filter box - any page using common/patron_search.tt, for example adding a guarantor with the members/guarantor_search.pl popup => Should return cardnumber/patron not found or no results 5. Change SearchCardnumberWithLDAP to 'if not found locally'. 6. Repeat step 4. => The patron should be added to Koha. 7. Edit the patron and change any of the existing information. 8. Repeat step 4. => The patron has not been updated (the change made in step 7 is still there) 9. Change SearchCardnumberWithLDAP to 'always'. 10. Repeat step 4. => The patron has been updated. Change made in step 7 has been rewritten and patron informations is the same as in step 6. 11. Try searching for a patron who doesn't exist in Koha and has a nonexistant branch on the LDAP server. This means any new code placed within those blocks fails the QA tests as it automatically adds new untidy lines. While carrying out an action on that patron, if the same checkout confirmation message keeps appearing the user can now select to remember their confirmation while they are still working on that patron. When the user moves onto a new patron the confirmations then reset and accumulate again for the new patron. Test plan: We're going to use rental fees as the example to prompt the checkout confirmation dialog. If you wish to use something else to test then feel free, it should work the same. Do not use patron debts though, as we already track a confirmation for this elsewhere and the test plan will appear to fail when in fact it is behaving as expected 1) In system preferences set RentalFeesCheckoutConfirmation to 'ask' 2) Choose a patron and checkout an item to that patron that incurrs a rental charge (in KTD this will be any item that does not have an itype of 'BK', 'REF' or 'VM' 3) A dialog should display asking you to confirm the checkout. 4) There should be a checkbox on the dialog to "Remember for the session for this patron" 5) Click Yes, checkout out without checking this checkbox 6) Select another item and checkout - the dialog should display again 7) This time, check the checkbox and click Yes, check out 8) Checkout another item (depending on your fines limit settings, you may need to pay the rental charges before the system will allow you to checkout again so go ahead and do this) 9) This time the dialog should not appear as the system has remembered our confirmation for this patron for the session 10) Choose a new patron 11) Repeat steps 2 - 9 12) It should work as outlined above 13) Sign off! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Turn on the finesmode system preference. 2. Go to returns.pl (/cgi-bin/koha/circ/returns.pl) 3. Expand the the options so you see 'Forgive overdue charges'. Check that box. 4. Select an item from the catalog that is available at a different branch. Check in the item. Notice that the transfer modal pops up. Click on OK. The box for 'Forgive overdue charges' remains checked. 5. Check that same item in again. A modal stating "Wrong transfer detected, please return item to: *Branch name*" appears. Click on OK. Notice that the 'Forgive overdue charges' box has been unchecked. Ideally, the checkbox should remain checked until a staff member unchecks the box.
