When importing individualized item data from the "Select to import" tab, clicking Save triggers an error: "Some required subfields are unset". Setting the Koha item type in the "Item information" tab fixes this error - but it shouldn't be necessary to set the item type in that tab if all items in the "Select to import" tab already have an item type specified. To replicate: 1. Go to Acquisitions and find or open a basket 2. Click Add to basket 3. Click Add from new file 4. Upload a MARC file containing item data 5. When the upload completes, click "Add to basket" 6. In the "Select to import" tab that comes up by default, check the checkbox next to one or more titles in the file --> This will expand the item data for those titles 7. Look over the item data, and confirm that all items have a homebranch, holdingbranch, and item type defined 8. Click "Save" --> An error pops up: "Some required subfields are unset" 9. Navigate to the "Item information" tab 10. Select a value for y - Koha item type 11. However, Koha *is* refusing to create an item when receiving an issue on an expired subscription. To recreate: 1 - create a subscription set to *not* create items, subscription end date in the past 2 - save subscription, confirm it shows as expired, confirm you can receive an issue anyway 3 - create a subscription set *to* create items, subscription end date in the past 4- save subscription, confirm it shows as expired, confirm you can get to the receiving page but setting the dropdown for the expected issue to "Arrived" does not cause an item edit box to appear 5- create a subscription set *to* create items, subscription end date in the future, number of issues set to 1 6- save subscription, receive 1 issue, confirm it works as intended 7- confirm subscription now shows a confusing "Subscription will expire on [subscription end date]" message even though the date isn't the problem 8- Attempt to receive another issue, confirm that now the item edit box won't pop up, as in step 4 In steps 4 and 8, the item edit box will appear if one attempts to receive a supplemental issue, but the item will refuse to save, giving an erroneous "missing required field" message. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. Building on top of 31503. While we now only enforce the GDPR consent if the pref is set to Enforced, we leave other consents empty. Which actually is opt-in. They need to go to the consents page and enable the specific consent. If we would add opt-out, we can either add consents for all users or make PatronConsent a bit smarter and only register refusal (opt-out). It feels more consistent to add all consents to the table, and add them too in the self reg process. But when you add a new consent type and mark it as opt-out, we should then populate the table too. Do we also need a Mandatory flag? Historically, we treat the GDPR consent as such. Other consents may not be of that same category. But we might want the user to make an explicit choice there without the same exceptional approach that we use for GDPR. How do we get him on that page?
