[Bug 37092] New: Additional information should show for batch checkouts requiring overrides
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 17 Jul '24

17 Jul '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=37092 Bug ID: 37092 Summary: Additional information should show for batch checkouts requiring overrides Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 23.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: sbrown(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com When using batch checkouts for a transaction that requires an override due to fines over noissuescharge, staff have to confirm the checkout - but there is no information provided about why they are being asked to confirm. In a single-transaction checkout for a patron with fines above noissuescharge where overrides are allowed, a warning box appears with <Please confirm checkout The patron has a debt of $$.$$> Staff must click the 'Yes, check out' button to continue. This behavior gives staff the information they need to decide whether they should override. However, in batch checkout with the same fine (noissuescharge at 5, fine at 20.00): -Scan items into batch checkout box, and click 'Check out' box -A table displays with the scanned barcodes. Nothing is in the Information column to indicate why the items are not yet checked out. -Below the table reads <Please confirm checkout> with a 'Checkout or renew' button, but there is no indication of why the checkout needs confirmation This is confusing for staff and could lead to items being checked out when they should not be, since staff aren't given the information they need to know why the checkout must be confirmed and thus decide whether they should override it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 22070] New: OpacBrowseResults has broken link back to search results

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=22070 Bug ID: 22070 Summary: OpacBrowseResults has broken link back to search results Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 17.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: OPAC Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Target Milestone: --- Under certain conditions the OPACBrowseResults (navigation between results in OPAC) feature will have a broken link "back to results". To test: - Search for a term with diacritics. You can cheat a little here and search for something like "bööks" with the sample data. (ö will also find o). It's important that it's at least to result pages. - Go to the last result of the first result page - Verify the URL "back to results" works and diacritic shows up nicely - Go to the last result of the first page again - Navigate "Next >>" - Check "Back to results" again - Verify the link is broken and the diacritics are mangled Link looks something like this: http://localhost:8080/cgi-bin/koha/opac-search.pl?offset=20&q=b%C3%83%C2%83… -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 35293] New: Regression: Bug 33390 (QA followup) patch overwrote the template changes to bug 25560
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 17 Jul '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=35293 Bug ID: 35293 Summary: Regression: Bug 33390 (QA followup) patch overwrote the template changes to bug 25560 Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: System Administration Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: lisette.scheer(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com After bug 25560, the description for UpdateNotForLoanStatusOnCheckin read: >> - "This is a list of item types and value pairs. " >> - "Examples: " >> - "_ALL_: " >> - "&nbsp-1: 0 " >> - "CR: " >> - "&nbsp1: 0 " >> - "When an item is checked in, if it's item type matches CR then when the value on the left (1) matches the items' not for loan value it will be updated to the value on the right. The special term _ALL_ is used on the left side of the colon (:) to affect all item types, this does not override all other rules " >> - "Each item type needs to be defined on a separate line on the left side of the colon (:). Each pair of not for loan values, for that item type, should be listed on separate lines below the item type, each indented by a leading space " After Bug 33390 was pushed, it now reads again as: >> - This is a list of value pairs. When an item is checked in, if the not for loan value on the left matches the items not for loan value >> - "it will be updated to the right-hand value. For example, '-1: 0' will cause an item that was set to 'Ordered' to now be available for loan." >> - "Can be used for showing only the not for loan description. E.g. '-1: ONLYMESSAGE'." >> - Each pair of values should be on a separate line. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 33716] New: ILL - Allow for a disclaimer stage per request type
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 17 Jul '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=33716 Bug ID: 33716 Summary: ILL - Allow for a disclaimer stage per request type Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: new feature Priority: P5 - low Component: ILL Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: pedro.amorim(a)ptfs-europe.com CC: andrew.auld(a)ptfs-europe.com, katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de, martin.renvoize(a)ptfs-europe.com, pedro.amorim(a)ptfs-europe.com, tomascohen(a)gmail.com Created attachment 151027 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=151027&action=e… Workflow diagram This new feature should allow the specification of a new custom HTML message alongside a custom authorised values category to be presented to the user after the ILL request has been submitted, on both OPAC and Staff. This should also allow for different specifications for each request type, and a fallback disclaimer if the type of the new ILL request being created does not exist in the new system preference. Once the disclaimer is submitted, the selected value from authorised values category as well as a timestamp should be saved in the database. To implement this, a refactor of the current ILLCheckAvailability system preference is required to make sure this new feature works in harmony, as it's also an extra step the user must take after it has submitted the create request form, but before the request has been saved in the database. Please check the attached diagram. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.
