For example if you would like to be able to store the home library code, title, and barcode even if the item was deleted, you could have it e entered automatically when the fine was created. In these cases, libraries generally want to print a distinct HOLD_SLIP for holds associated with ILL requests. This leads to long and complicated HOLD_SLIPs. Many libraries would like a comparable system to block refund if the lost item fee has been paid in full more than X days ago. Further, even more libraries have asked for the ability to simply not refund paid lost items at all (they only want to refund/forgive lost fees that are not yet paid).
