However, those refunds don't do anything to correct the record of how many items were sold. That means that accurate reporting on number of items sold needs to be verifying that none of the payments tied to the purchase have been refunded. It'd be better to be able to just void the whole sale, setting the amounts on the original purchase(s) and payments all to zero, zeroing out the note in the purchase (since we're using that for the quantity of the sale), and giving them a VOID status. It would be helpful if those settings also allowed staff to set a default sort order by either code or description. Our use case is as follows: Our Library sells items for the Library, the Friends group and the Library Foundation. As a consequence, we have 30 different types of items that can be sold via the POS system. Our codes mirror the fund codes that are used by our Finance office which is necessary for making our daily deposits to the City. We assigned more easily identifiable descriptions for the items so that staff would be able to use the POS system efficiently at a very busy Information Desk. We purposely named the most used items so that they would sort alphabetically at the top of the list. But the default sort order for the table is by code not description. Indeed we have a lot of column and we want to limit the number of columns displayed. This behaviour conflicts with "Save state": when the columns are hidden the state is modified. If you leave the page and come back, the column will stay hidden, even if the global settings does not have it as hidden and even if the user didn't explicitly hide it. Then the library staff can resend the notices from the notices tab. It would be nice if Koha could provide the ability to cascade a failed notification to a secondary notification method. On the patron / circ-menu sidebar I can see the patronbriefinfo ul overflowing the sidebar, and taking the patron image with it as it's width matches the ul. I suspect this is because of the flex-wrap setting on the patroninfo-container div ancestor, or at least when I temporarily disabled that the ul stopped overflowing. The email li is supposed to hide the overflow, but the ul width expanding with it's contents means it doesn't have the chance to do that. To constrain the ul I added "width:inherit" to it's parent div. I also had to add a "max-width" so that the ul wouldn't take up the whole width; thus allowing it to render beside the patron image when possible, instead of always ending up under it. I'm not sure if this is the best solution, but it's one that I found to work. I tried setting the width and max-width on the ul, but that still didn't constrain it to it's parent's width. I'm using Firefox with the browser window at around 1435px width, with an email address of 53 characters. I also observed this ul overflowing in Chrome. I'll attach a patch which adds a "patronbriefinfo-container" class to the div, and adds that class to the staff-global.scss file.
