A lot of small libraries don't have self-check station. Maybe a good solution would be adding function "Batch Check in"? Thanks a lot Regards -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

This would take into account specific rules (lead and trail periods) and be joined with current checkouts to certify their availability. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 32459] New: Add option to expire patrons who were updated in the update_patrons.pl cron job
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 21 Oct '26

21 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=32459 Bug ID: 32459 Summary: Add option to expire patrons who were updated in the update_patrons.pl cron job Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 22.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Patrons Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: bwsdonna(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com A common use of the update_patrons.pl is to update a child card to an adult account. It would be really helpful to be able to expire the account when the patron category is changed. The reason behind this specific situation is when patrons become "adults" libraries need to get a new application form signed, so the individual is now responsible for the account. Perhaps there can be a way to set the expiration date to the current date when those accounts are updated? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 41651] New: Allow plugins to specify additional dependencies
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 21 Oct '26

21 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=41651 Bug ID: 41651 Summary: Allow plugins to specify additional dependencies Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Plugin architecture Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: tadeusz(a)sosnierz.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Koha plugins cannot currently declare any dependencies. Not meeting them will occcasionally fail upon installation (if the main plugin class tries to load them at compile time) or runtime (if one of the other packages does, or code cleverly checks if the dependency is met). Ideally we'd have a way of specifying if a Koha plugin depends on another Perl module, or another Koha plugin. A nice feature of this would be to able be able to declare optional dependencies, which may only be required for a subset of the Plugin's features (like in https://github.com/HKS3/koha-normalize-marc2db/blob/main/Koha/Plugin/HKS3/N…) Those shouldn't prevent installation, but should still warn loudly upon plugin installation, in a way that is hard/impossible to miss (e.g. have an intermitted screen on plugins-upload.pl, with an "are you sure"). Patch incoming. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 41199] New: Advanced Search fields could use more visible label options

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=41199 Bug ID: 41199 Summary: Advanced Search fields could use more visible label options Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Accessibility Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: jake.deery(a)openfifth.co.uk QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: martin.renvoize(a)openfifth.co.uk, matt.blenkinsop(a)openfifth.co.uk, oleonard(a)myacpl.org The advanced search & search masthead could both do with more visible labels. This aids users in navigating the system, and also helps to provide screen readers with more context about an input field. We should offer a syspref that controls the number of visible labels, so libraries can have greater control over the extent of these labels. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
