[Bug 42524] New: Option to calculate priorities based on reservedate when moving hold to a new record
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 21 Oct '26

21 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42524 Bug ID: 42524 Summary: Option to calculate priorities based on reservedate when moving hold to a new record Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: andrew(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, lisette(a)bywatersolutions.com, tomascohen(a)gmail.com Depends on: 31698 Currently, when a hold is moved to a new record the hold is placed at the end of the priority list. It would be helpful to provide an option to work the moved hold into the priority list based on when the hold was created -- the moved hold would go after older holds, before newer holds. This does present a problem if the new target record has holds whose priority has been manually changed so that they are no longer in order of age. For the merging of bib records we addressed this same issue by fully rebuilding the priority list for the new merged bib, discarding any manual priority changes and putting all holds in order of age. We could take the same approach here. [Bug 41984] New: The biblio title should include 245$h when displayed in the patron-hold-table

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=41984 Bug ID: 41984 Summary: The biblio title should include 245$h when displayed in the patron-hold-table Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: lucas(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl To recreate: 1. Have a biblio with a 245$h ( biblio.medium ) 2. Place a hold on that title 3. Visit both members/moremember.pl and circ/circulation.pl to view the patron hold table. 4. Go to the Holds tab 5. Notice the title displays but not the 245$h. biblio-title.inc includes the 245$h, so for consistency we should also display it here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 27364] New: Making previous patron cardnumbers searchable
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 21 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=27364 Bug ID: 27364 Summary: Making previous patron cardnumbers searchable Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 20.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Patrons Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: fiona.borthwick(a)ptfs-europe.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com Bug 18626 introduced the logging of changes to patron cardnumbers which is great, but this still does not link together previous cardnumbers. Imagine this scenario: A library patron loses their library card. They are issued with a replacement. Old and new cardnumbers are recorded in the Modification log. The old card is found (doesn't matter who finds it) and brought to the library. A member of library staff scan the barcode - get no results. This means they are none the wiser as to who this card belonged to. Would it not be a good idea to allow previous cardnumbers to be searchable? Some libraries may record this information somewhere in the patron record, but a search by cardnumber would be extremely helpful. It would be useful if the cardnumber moved into a linked field automatically when a new cardnumber was entered. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
