[Bug 43164] New: Patron attribute filters give incorrect results in the Circulation statistics wizards
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 28 Jul '26

28 Jul '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=43164 Bug ID: 43164 Summary: Patron attribute filters give incorrect results in the Circulation statistics wizards Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: 25.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P5 - low Component: Reports Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: lucy.vaux-harvey(a)openfifth.co.uk QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: lisette(a)bywatersolutions.com Target Milestone: --- To replicate - Test on a system which has patron attributes - Go to the Circulation wizard select row = patron category and column = a patron attribute. It can be either a freetext attribute or one linked to an authorised value list. - Select count unique items - Select to display the results on screen - Results show patron categories correctly as rows but the columns headers are a series of dates rather than your patron attribute values. - Edit the report to switch the row and columns, row = patron attribute and column = patron category - Results show patron categories correctly as columns but the rows display library branch codes - Try a variety of different patron attributes, filters and display views - consistently (based on my tests), if the patron attribute is chosen as the column, dates are displayed, if chosen as the row, library branch codes display. Tested on 25.11.06 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 40308] New: New Perl Class (Koha::ExternalContent::OCLC) for integrating with OCLC's APIs
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 28 Jul '26

28 Jul '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=40308 Bug ID: 40308 Summary: New Perl Class (Koha::ExternalContent::OCLC) for integrating with OCLC's APIs Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: MARC Authority data support Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: a.roussos(a)dataly.gr QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Background information ---------------------- OCLC recently [1] started offering a Linked Data (LD) [2] API [3] that allows looking up Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) numbers [4] in order to obtain unique URIs/URLs and Descriptions for a particular DDC (or range). In addition to API searches, a smaller subset of the LD can also be browsed online in a hierarchical manner [5]. This is just one from a large set of APIs offered by OCLC [6]. Reasoning behind this Bug report -------------------------------- We believe that Koha users who include DDC numbers in their authority cataloguing would benefit from an integration with the OCLC Dewey LD API that would allow them to easily look up DDCs in exchange for LD URIs/URLs and Descriptions. To this end, we propose the addition of a new Perl Class that will offer this functionality (Koha::ExternalContent::OCLC). Initially, the class will offer functions for issuing API access tokens and for looking up DDC URIs/URLs and Descriptions on the Dewey LD API. In the future, more code be added to the class to allow for integration with more OCLC APIs. This Bug report will also include a command-line tool that will enable users to update their authorities with OCLC Linked Data en masse, useful for authority records that already contain DDC information. Three new authority Framework plugins that will use the functions offered by the new Perl Class will be added as separate Bug reports. These offer the ability to look up DDCs with a single mouse click while inside the Authorities module cataloguing editor. Finally, we propose the addition of four new System Preferences that control the integration with the OCLC Dewey Linked Data API, namely: - OCLCAPIWSKeyClientID: Stores the client ID component of your OCLC API WSKey - OCLCAPIWSKeyClientSecret: Stores the client secret component of your OCLC API WSKey - OCLCDeweyLinkedDataAPI: Basically an On/Off "switch" for the lookup service - OCLCDeweyLinkedDataLanguage: Sets the language of the DDC description to be fetched References: [1] https://www.oclc.org/en/news/releases/2024/20240815-uniform-resource-identi… [2] https://www.oclc.org/en/linked-data.html [3] https://developer.api.oclc.org/dewey-ld [4] https://www.oclc.org/content/dam/oclc/dewey/versions/print/intro.pdf [5] https://entities.oclc.org/worldcat/ddc/ [6] https://www.oclc.org/developer/api/oclc-apis.en.html -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 42122] New: Add ability to copy or duplicate existing MARC frameworks

The framework you wish to copy must be exported, then imported again onto a new framework. It would be great to simply click a button to duplicate an existing framework, or when creating a new one to select "copy existing framework" for this. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. This is working correctly on 22.05.x, but is not working on the current master. To replicate on the current master: 1. Set AnonSuggestions to 'Allow'. 2. Set OPACViewOthersSuggestions to 'Show'. 3. On the OPAC, when not logged in, add a purchase suggestion. 4. On the OPAC, log in as a patron and make a purchase suggestion. 5. Change OPACViewOthersSuggestions to "Don't show". 6. Under Your account > Purchase suggestions, you can only see your own suggestions (as expected). 6. Change OPACViewOthersSuggestions set to "Show". 7. Under Your account > Purchase suggestions, after the "Search for" input field there is a dropdown list with options: 7.1 Select "Suggested by me" and press "Go": the patron's own suggestion(s) are correctly shown. 7.2 Select "Suggested by anyone" and press 'Go': it DOESN'T show all suggestions. This doesn't make sense, as this section groups together preferences related to purchase suggestions. OPACVirtualCard and OPACVirtualCardBarcode should be moved to a more relevant section with the OPAC preferences, likely Features. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 41971] New: Library-specific Pages for OPAC openly accessible

That is, not only could they be viewed by patrons of other libraries, they could be viewed publicly (without authentication). To reproduce: 1. Create a new page. - Display location = OPAC - Library = specific, but different from the current user (for certainty) - Publication date = Yesterday or Today - Title and Content = minimally necessary content 2. Save the new page. 3. Right-click the OPAC link and copy the link address. 4. Open a Guest profile window, which has no association with any existing session. 5. Paste the link and go to the address. 6. The library-specific page will be loaded without prompting for authentication. (If using a sandbox, ensure that OPACBaseURL is set correctly.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.
