It would make adding new rules much faster and much more reliable as now you need to add every rule individually to every column if you add new item types or patron categories. This can cause mistakes to happen. If you could copy already existing rules, it would save significant amount of time. It would also make mistakes less likely to happen and lower the threshold when it comes to adding new item types and patron categories.
