https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=17656 Bug ID: 17656 Summary: Irregularities in serial prediction pattern are planned only for the current year Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: Serials Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: koha(a)univ-lyon3.fr QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: colin.campbell(a)ptfs-europe.com When you se, through test prediction pattern, a serial pattern including planned irregularities (for example a 1/month serial that you know there's no issue on july), this is only valid fot the current subscription. Over the next renewal, you will have to set it again which is very tedious. We should be able to configure this in the long run (as it was possible in previous version of Koha before 3.14, I think) Olivier Crouzet -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 27248] New: Allow to use list of barcodes/itemnumbers with Batch extend due dates tool
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 22 Oct '26

22 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=27248 Bug ID: 27248 Summary: Allow to use list of barcodes/itemnumbers with Batch extend due dates tool Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Tools Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org In some cases libraries want to use some more complicated criteria for selecting the items that they want to extend the due dates for. For these cases it would be great if SQL reports could be used to make a list that then can be uploaded to the tool, similar to how we manage other batch operations. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 30328] New: Add ability to generate barcode with branch specific prefix
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 22 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=30328 Bug ID: 30328 Summary: Add ability to generate barcode with branch specific prefix Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: emmi.takkinen(a)koha-suomi.fi QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl We should add more flexibility to generating barcodes by letting libraries define branch specific prefix for their barcodes. For this we need to add new barcode option to syspref "autobarcode" and new systempreference where prefixes are set. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 18064] New: Long overdue cronjob does not follow the library' s calendar and skip closed days
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 22 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=18064 Bug ID: 18064 Summary: Long overdue cronjob does not follow the library's calendar and skip closed days Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 3.22 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Notices Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: jzairo(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org The cronjob that sets the Long overdue does not follow the library's calendar and skip closed days. However, the cronjob that sends the email (overdue notices) does follow the library's calendar. So as an example on a weekend where Monday is a holiday, the long over due may get set and chanrge the patrons account, but the email may be sent a day or 2 later. It would be good to allow the long overdue cron to follow the library calendar and skip closed days. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 28884] New: ElasticSearch: Question mark in title search returns no results
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 22 Oct '26

22 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=28884 Bug ID: 28884 Summary: ElasticSearch: Question mark in title search returns no results Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 20.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Searching - Elasticsearch Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: jyorio(a)equinoxinitiative.org When searching for a title with a question mark, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? for example, Koha returns no results with ElasticSearch. Removing the question mark or escaping it retrieves results, as does enclosing the entire title with the question mark in quotes. Since ? is a wildcard for ElasticSearch, this may be expected behavior (I'm not sure that it is or isn't), but explaining to patrons that they need to change their search behavior can be a big ask for libraries. Not sure what the best option is. Perhaps a system preference to automatically escape ? and not treat it as a wildcard for those libraries who would prefer that? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 26355] New: Tie account renewals to patron modification requests
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 21 Oct '26

21 Oct '26

Create a check-box stating that they have reviewed all their information, and it is accurate and up to date (if no changes are made). Perhaps this check-box only shows when their account is due for renewal. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 27066] New: Implement Hooks for patron's updates
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 21 Oct '26

21 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=27066 Bug ID: 27066 Summary: Implement Hooks for patron's updates Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Plugin architecture Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: eric.begin(a)inLibro.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Some of our clients use external systems to populate Koha's patron information. They can use Koha's API to update patron info, however, we don't have any way (that I know of) to notify an external system when a patron info is changed in Koha. In order to allow bidirectional communications, we are planning to add hooks. This will allow creating plugins to send messages to external systems in order to fulfil the following requirements : - Update patron information stored in the borrowers table (name, address, email, etc.) - Notify an external system when a restriction is placed on a user (fines, manual restrictions, overdues, etc.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
