The last event added to the timeline was KohaCon20 back in 2020.. we should add at least the KohaCons that have come since, but I'd also consider adding other international gatherings such as the annual Marseille hackfest and other hackfests that have popped up. We've also got various significant milestones where new functionalities were introduced and I think we should highlight these too. It can be needed for some libraries to always apply a given profile, for example when you import records from a MARC file into an aquisition basket, and the MARC file is dowloaded from a specific publisher or record provider. To reproduce: 1. Log in as a user http://localhost:8080 2. Search the catalogue for something 3. On the search results page, choose a different sort order for your results (doesn't matter what, do it a few times, A-Z, Z-A, etc). 4. Go to the search history page http://localhost:8080/cgi-bin/koha/opac-search-history.pl 5. Note that the search shows more than once, one for each time you change the sort order. Expectation: The search should only show once, and not register multiple times due to just changing the order of it. The search history page doesn't indicate this either, so it just looks like the same search over and over. Screenshot attached showing 3 searches all from 5:25. I selected the book, and clicked "Place hold" and I got a pop up saying nothing is selected. To reproduce: 1. Log in as a user http://localhost:8080 2. Search for a book 3. Click "add to list" (existing or create a new one, doesn't matter) 4. View the list 5. Select the book by ticking the box next to it. 6. Click "Place hold" 7. Receive pop up saying nothing is selected Expected: I should be able to place a hold on the book, as it is selected. Screenshot attached showing that I have selected the box and the pop up is showing I have not. ADDITIONAL NOTES: I have tested this with both private and public lists, and lists that can only be updated by the user, and ones that can be updated by anyone. While some would say this could be avoided by workflow changes, it is still a data problem that leads to confusion for all involved. I would suggest that 1) the hold waiting not allow status changes, or 2) the hold allow the waiting status to be changed for this scenario. It seems that AllowHoldsOnDamagedItems should only block holds from being placed, not holds that are already waiting. I don't think blocking the checkout of the item that is already waiting would be a good option because the patron has been notified that the item is already there. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. It gets saved in the database in suggestions.copyrightdate. The database also contains the field suggestions.publicationyear. As far as I can tell, there is no way in the staff interface or OPAC to put a value in this field (though if one were to get a value into it, that value would show on /cgi-bin/koha/suggestion/suggestion.pl). It would probably make sense to just remove suggestions.publicationyear from the database. But at the same time copyrightdate and publication date are really two distinct values .... I'm mostly filing this bug for the next person to stumbles into this hole and wonders what that field's about.
