[Bug 27934] New: Using 'title' attributes on span fields for sorting is wrong
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 16 Oct '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=27934 Bug ID: 27934 Summary: Using 'title' attributes on span fields for sorting is wrong Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Staff Client Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: martin.renvoize(a)ptfs-europe.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com We have some interesting code in our datatables wrappers to magically sort on 'title' attributes found in spans in table fields (When the headings are marked up with 'title-string' and 'title-number' classes). This is weird and a mis-use of the HTML title attribute. It results in tooltips being generated for all fields witch such values and often those tooltips are confusing/mismatched. We should replace these with either data- attributes or perhaps use hidden datatables columns for sorting? Basically.. there must be a better way. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 40900] New: 'On hold' link doesn't appear in checkout table if item is overdue
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 16 Oct '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=40900 Bug ID: 40900 Summary: 'On hold' link doesn't appear in checkout table if item is overdue Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 25.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P5 - low Component: Patrons Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: sbrown(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle(a)bywatersolutions.com In patrons' checkout tables, the 'Renew' column has an 'On hold' link if a checked-out item is on hold for someone else. However, if the checked-out item becomes overdue, the 'On hold' link no longer appears. This means that staff who are considering placing a renewal by override don't know that the item is on hold for someone else, which could impact their decision to allow the override. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 33120] New: Batch Patron Modification - Circulation Note Overwrites
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 15 Oct '25

15 Oct '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=33120 Bug ID: 33120 Summary: Batch Patron Modification - Circulation Note Overwrites Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Tools Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: rcoert(a)arlingtonva.us QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org When using Batch Patron Modification to add a new "Circulation Note" field, the new entry wipes out any existing Circulation Notes on the patrons accounts. This is problematic, especially for accounts that require we keep historical records of patron interactions with staff. I propose that the newly added note be added to the end of whatever Circulation Notes already exist on the account, i.e.: Note 1; Note 2; Note 3; New Note Added Today Alternatively, I'd love to see the Circulation Note field act similar to the Patron Message field, where the librarian/date/time are logged when notes are added to the accounts. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
