https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38167 Bug ID: 38167 Summary: ESLint: migrate config to flat format + cleanup some node dependencies Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: victor(a)tuxayo.net QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org ESLint9 switched to a new config file format[1]. Using the old config format looks like this: ESLINT_USE_FLAT_CONFIG='false' eslint koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/js/ajax.js So here we will be doing the migration like this: npx @eslint/migrate-config .eslintrc.json https://eslint.org/docs/latest/use/configure/migration-guide [1] https://eslint.org/docs/latest/use/configure/configuration-files https://eslint.org/blog/2022/08/new-config-system-part-1/ https://eslint.org/blog/2022/08/new-config-system-part-2/ ----- The goal of this is to make it easier to check guideline JS8 https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Coding_Guidelines#JS8:_Follow_guidelin… And be one step closer to able to check it on .vue and .ts files -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 40744] New: Don't give noisy warning when PatronSelfRegistration is turned off
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 17 Jul '26

17 Jul '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=40744 Bug ID: 40744 Summary: Don't give noisy warning when PatronSelfRegistration is turned off Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 24.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Command-line Utilities Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: robin(a)catalyst.net.nz We have several instances on one server. Some are using patron self registration, others do not. Now when cleanup_database.pl is run, we get a warning in the logs: Self-registrations cannot be removed, system preference PatronSelfRegistrationDefaultCategory is not set This is unnecessary, as for the libraries in question PatronSelfRegistration is OFF and PatronSelfRegistrationExpireTemporaryAccountsDelay is set to 0. The pref description says: NOTE: This system preference requires the misc/cronjobs/cleanup_database.pl cronjob. Ask your system administrator to schedule it. No patrons will be deleted if you set the pref to zero or make it empty. So we are telling the script, it's OK, we don't want any deleted, and still get the noisy warning. This is unnecessary. The warning should only be given when PatronSelfRegistrationExpireTemporaryAccountsDelay is not empty or 0 and the PatronSelfRegistrationDefaultCategory is empty at the same time. We might also want to check for PatronSelfRegistration. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

To get there: 1. Install another language e.g. ./misc/translator/translate update fr-CA ./misc/translator/translate install fr-CA Enable the language in the language syspref 2. Enable PreservationModule syspref 3. Add a not for loan status in the PreservationNotForLoanWaitingListIn syspref 4. Change the language of the interface 5. Go to Preservation > Waiting list 6. Click Add to waiting list --> The "Barcodes" hint inside the text box is not translated 7. Optionally, search the .po files for the string git grep "Barcodes" fr-CA* --> Nothing for preservation; everything else is translated -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
