[Bug 11300] Add a new authority linker which searches for authority links on a Z39.50 server.

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=11300 --- Comment #78 from Hammat wele <hammat.wele(a)inlibro.com> --- Created attachment 202552 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=202552&action=e… Bug 11300: Add a new authority linker which searches for authority links on a Z39.50 server. This patch adds a Z39.50 Linker which searches for authority links on a remote server. If a matching authority is found, it's imported in the local database for linking with the current biblio record. If no matching authority was found on the remote server, the Linker falls back to a local authority search. Configuration : * The option "Z39.50 Server" is added to the LinkerModule preference. You must choose this to use the new Linker. * The preference LinkerZ3950Server is required and specifies which server to use for linking. It must contain the "name" of the server, as defined in the z3950servers table. * You can set the "local_first" option in the LinkerOptions preference to force the Linker to search for authorities in the local database first. If no local authority match was found, the Linker falls back to a remote Z39.50 search. [Bug 38886] New: TrackLastPatronActivityTriggers should have an option for patron modification

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38886 Bug ID: 38886 Summary: TrackLastPatronActivityTriggers should have an option for patron modification Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Patrons Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: anneli.osterman(a)koha-suomi.fi QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com Bug 23486 added the option for patron creation and it would be great if patron modification in staff interface would also update patron's lastseen field when the update is done in cgi-bin/koha/members/memberentry.pl. Batch patron modification should not update the lastseen field because it is often used to fix information without patron's own request and patron is not therefore "seen" in these cases. For example a library closes down permanently and patrons' home library is changed to another one. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 41141] New: Linker with Elasticsearch fails when heading contains parenthesis or equal sign

Looks like those characters are removed because of CCL syntax but Elasticsearch in this context uses 'ci_raw' form that does not matches if characters are removed. So we should do it only with Zebra. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 36261] New: Calculating OpacHiddenItems is too slow in OPAC search
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Jul '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=36261 Bug ID: 36261 Summary: Calculating OpacHiddenItems is too slow in OPAC search Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: dcook(a)prosentient.com.au QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Calculating items and records hidden by OpacHiddenItems it slow. Too slow. Fortunately, I've come up with an optimization which seems to effectively eliminate the overhead added by OpacHiddenItems. Basically, instead of running 1 query per item, I run 1 query per bib to get all hidden items. It's pretty straightforward, but I'd like to battle-test it a bit more. I'm also writing this optimization for an older version of Koha, and I still have more optimizing I want to do, so I'm not going to post my patch just yet... It's coming though! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.
