Even though autoMemberNum assumes a library is using numeric cardnumbers, it shouldn't go haywire if one ends up in the database. That seems highly unlikely to happen in barcodes, but is possible if no real barcodes are used but a substitute, like a copy of the call number. Space character needs to be changed to %20 for the request to work. The bug led to really nice plack benchmarks. In fact, using the commit_biblios_file.pl in command line, the script dies. But those links are created also with template opac-detail.tt. So in the display you see two time the same links.
