https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=17010 Bug ID: 17010 Summary: Canceling a hold that has been waiting too long from Holds Awaiting Pickup no longer alerts librarian about next hold Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: kyle(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com In previous versions of Koha, if a hold canceled from the "Holds over" tab had other holds on it, the librarian would be alerted with the message "This item is on hold for pick-up at your library" and directed to check it in to fill the next hold. This no longer happens. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 16828] New: Item Overlay does not respect Bibliographic Record Match

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=16828 Bug ID: 16828 Summary: Item Overlay does not respect Bibliographic Record Match Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Tools Assignee: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com Reporter: joy(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org When importing a new record and matching the bib and 'replacing' the item, Koha matches/overlays items on either barcode or itemnumber in the 952 $p or $9. However, it does not require that the item being overlaid be tied to the bibliographic record being matched in the import process. Example: Bib record 1: =LDR 01867cgm a2200433 a 4500 =020 \\$a1564589161 =245 00$aDog$h[videorecording] /$cBBC Wildvision ; BBC Lionheart Television and Dorling Kindersley Vision in association with Oregon Public Broadcasting ; =999 \\$c39742$d39742 =952 \\$aMAIN$bMAIN$cJVI$oJVID 636.7 Jol$pTVSN5$yVHS$93600 Bib record 2: =LDR 00925cam a22002775a 4500 =020 \\$a0716617471 (hbk.) =100 1\$aMorley, Christine. =245 00$aDog /$cChristine Morleyand Carole Orbell ; illustrations by Brita Granström. =999 \\$c35238$d35238 =952 \\$936713$aMAIN$bMAIN$cJVI$oJuv Mor$pBAR1$yVHS$95000 If you import the following record and use a 020$a matching rule you will match on bib #1, but overlay the item on bib #2. Koha gives no warning but simply overlays. =LDR 01867cgm a2200433 a 4500 =020 \\$a1564589161 =245 00$aDog$h[videorecording] /$cBBC Wildvision ; BBC Lionheart Television and Dorling Kindersley Vision in association with Oregon Public Broadcasting ; =999 \\$c39742$d39742 =952 \\$aEAST$bEAST$oJVID 636.7 Jol$pBAR1$yVHS or use the following item tag matching on the itemnumber =952 \\$aEAST$bEAST$oJVID 636.7 Jol$p57890000012345$yVHS$95000 This could be a problem particularly with libraries using an acquisitions process where items must be overlaid with new information. Koha should check to see that bib overlaid belongs to the bib that was matched before overlaying. Right now there is no indication that the overlay took place on a second bibliographic record. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 17380] New: Cannot edit authorities with authtypecode = default
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 30 Oct '17

30 Oct '17

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=17380 Bug ID: 17380 Summary: Cannot edit authorities with authtypecode = default Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 16.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: MARC Authority data support Assignee: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com Reporter: joachim.ganseman(a)ehb.be QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Created attachment 55947 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=55947&action=ed… Example: after trying to merge PERSO_NAME and TOPIC_TERM "Rossini", the PERSO_NAME record is now authtypecoded as "default" and cannot be edited anymore Editing authorities whose authtypecode is not set to a common value is not possible in Koha 16.05 . This occurs e.g. after trying to (accidentally) merge a PERSO_NAME and TOPIC_TERM authority into one. The resulting authority will have its authtypecode set to "default". Upon trying to correct such an authority, it turns out to be impossible to edit the said authority. An error very similar to 'Can't call method "authtypecode" on an undefined value' appears instead of the editor. This occurs even when there are no authority frameworks defined (i.e. all in the default frameworks), in Koha 16.05 on Debian. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

For example in case of remotely available resources like e-book/e-journals where library may enter only bibliographic details. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 17334] New: members-update.pl should show timestamp

Yes, you can look this up in a report, but this should be a basic feature of managing requests. Ideally, it should show on the same line as the patron name. Probably something like "Requested: 2016-09-05" -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.
