by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 21 Apr '26

21 Apr '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=35818 Bug ID: 35818 Summary: Message queue cron job vs. system preferences Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Documentation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: alexander.wagner(a)desy.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org In https://koha-community.org/manual/latest/en/html/cron_jobs.html#notices the note reads: ``` Requires that EnhancedMessagingPreferences be set to ‘Allow’. ``` Howerver, it this seems to be wrong. The queue should be processed regardless of the setting for `Enhanced Messages`. Probably, the Note should go to the next section Advanced notice -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 16786] New: No longer to add multiple emails addresses in an email field
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 20 Apr '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=16786 Bug ID: 16786 Summary: No longer to add multiple emails addresses in an email field Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com Reporter: kyle(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Previous to Koha 3.22, it was possible to enter multiple comma separated email addresses in a patron's email field. This allowed a patron to opt to receive a copy of any given email in more than one address! Now the email validation disallows this, but there is no technical reason to disallow it as far as I am aware. The email validator should be updated to supported multiple comma separated email addresses in any given email field. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 33440] New: A public list can be transferred to a staff member without list permissions
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 20 Apr '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=33440 Bug ID: 33440 Summary: A public list can be transferred to a staff member without list permissions Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Lists Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: kelly(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl With the introduction of this bug, https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=25498, public lists can now be transferred to other staff. When testing this new feature, I was able to transfer a list a staff member without any list permissions. Once this transfer was successful, this staff member could edit the list, add and remove titles from this public list. The one thing this staff member (who had no permissions for lists) could not do was transfer the list to another person. I believe that this transfer option should only be allowed to staff with list permissions. Test Plan 1. Staff member A creates a public list. 2. Staff member A transfers this public list to another staff member (staff member b) without list permissions. 3. Staff Member B now has the ability to edit this public list and add/remove items from this list. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 38217] New: TT tags breaking translation script when used to build a JS string
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 20 Apr '26

20 Apr '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38217 Bug ID: 38217 Summary: TT tags breaking translation script when used to build a JS string Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Templates Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: jonathan.druart(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Found on bug 38147. We all know the "don't use TT tag in HTML tags" because they break the translator script There is another side-effect. If you do: str = '<a foo="' + foo + '" bar="[% bar | uri %]"'>' + _("Click me") + '</a>' ; Then "Click me" won't be picked by the translator script So I have tried this: str = '<a foo="%s" bar="%s">%s</a>'.format(foo, "[% bar | uri %]", _("Click me")) But it does not seems to work either. So the solution I found is to use an intermediate JS variable: let bar = "[% bar | uri %]"; str = '<a foo="%s" bar="%s">%s</a>'.format(foo, bar, _("Click me")) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
