There are 10 separate modals coded in returns.tt, plus an additional 2 modal include files. There is also at least one parameter (found) that is duplicated for completely different meanings in different contexts, and several other similar-sounding parameters in different contexts whose meaning is no longer clear without code tracing how the value was assigned. All of this leads to a lot of code duplication and error-prone code, and makes it very confusing to follow the template/controller logic when developing or debugging. We should refactor down to one modal with clear logic for filling in its contents. In your koha-conf.xml set the timezone to: <timezone></timezone> 2. Enable bookings and make an item or itemtype bookable. 3. Place a booking and have a look at the start_date and end_date in the DB: select start_date, end_date from bookings; 4. We should do similar to what we do for email delivery failures and log to a table and display user friendly errors in the UI so that end users are a) aware of such issues and b) may be able to resolve such issue's by updating their config and/or mappings.
