https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=30319 Bug ID: 30319 Summary: Patron self-modification values not retained if field blocked in PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerUnwantedField Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: OPAC Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: andrew(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org When a field is hidden for self-registration, Koha is mistakenly discarding values for that field in self-modification. Somehow these two sysprefs are not being enforced distinctly. To test: 1 - turn on OPACPatronDetails 2 - confirm PatronSelfModificationBorrowerUnwantedField is blank, all fields allowed 3 - set PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerUnwantedField to hide Title 4 - log into the opac, go to self mod (/cgi-bin/koha/opac-memberentry.pl), set a title (it is not hidden, which is correct), and save your updates 5 - go to the patron modification page in the staff interface (/cgi-bin/koha/members/members-update.pl), confirm your modification request is there but shows no changes 6 - update PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerUnwantedField to allow title 7 - repeat step 4 8 - your new modification request shows a change to title -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 20846] New: Suppressed Records Still Appear in Public Lists
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 16 Oct '26

16 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=20846 Bug ID: 20846 Summary: Suppressed Records Still Appear in Public Lists Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 17.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: OPAC Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: andrew(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org To test: 1. Add a title to a public list 2. Edit the 942$n to suppress the record 3. Confirm that the record isn't visible in the opac 4. Confirm that the title still shows in the list It'd be great to have suppressed records hidden from lists. Even if the link from the list to the bib takes the user to the blocked record page, showing the title in the list is confusing. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 42553] New: preferences.pl: Allow 'multiple_sortable' to use 'authval' source for dynamic choices
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 16 Oct '26

16 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42553 Bug ID: 42553 Summary: preferences.pl: Allow 'multiple_sortable' to use 'authval' source for dynamic choices Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: martin.renvoize(a)openfifth.co.uk QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org The 'choices' renderer in admin/preferences.pl already supports a dynamic 'authval' source pattern, where the YAML can say: choices: authval source: SOMECATEGORY and the choices are populated from the named authorised value category at render time. The 'multiple_sortable' renderer (the SortableJS-backed drag-and-drop multi-select used by OPACAuthorIdentifiersAndInformation and ArticleRequestsSupportedFormats) does not have an equivalent. Choices must be hardcoded in the .pref YAML. This bug adds the same dynamic-source pattern to multiple_sortable so prefs needing an ordered, picker-driven multi-select of authorised values can declare: multiple_sortable: authval source: PAYMENT_TYPE Motivation: Bug 33501 (cashup amount should be configurable) needs an ordered multi-select of PAYMENT_TYPE auth values for a new CashupPaymentTypes preference. Adding it generically here means future prefs benefit too. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 42656] New: File transport test responses can be unclear

Also, when updating a transport, the status before tests complete is: Never used Which is confusing to users who have jobs (e.g. EDI) that use these transports regularly -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 40800] New: TransferArrived needlessly triggers alerts in SIP
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 16 Oct '26

16 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=40800 Bug ID: 40800 Summary: TransferArrived needlessly triggers alerts in SIP Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: SIP2 Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: martin.renvoize(a)openfifth.co.uk QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org A SIP check-in incorrectly triggers alerts when receiving items in transit at the destination library due to the NotIssued status combined with the TransferArrived message. When an item in transit is checked in at its destination library via SIP clients (sorters, self-service kiosks), the system generates an alert because it finds both: * NotIssued status (item not checked out to a user), therefore a checkin failure * Transfer receipt message Whilst this combination appropriately provides informational messages in the staff client, it's inappropriate for SIP contexts where automated systems don't require transfer receipt notifications and the alert disrupts workflow. The item status transition works correctly (transit → available), but the SIP response incorrectly signals an alert condition, preventing automated systems like sorters from processing transferred items seamlessly. Expected Behaviour SIP check-in of transit items at destination libraries should complete without alerts, allowing automated systems to process transferred items without manual intervention. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
