[Bug 21272] New: Marc import should warn about mis-matched branch and item-type fields in 952 during marc import.

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=21272 Bug ID: 21272 Summary: Marc import should warn about mis-matched branch and item-type fields in 952 during marc import. Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Tools Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: barton(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org When importing a record that has homebranch (952$a), holding branch (952$b) or item type (952$y) populated, but not matching values in branches.branchcode or itemtypes.itemtype, koha will indicate that items were not imported (via the count of imported items), but not why. This causes frequent confusion among new users. It would be nice to offer mappings between detected branches / item types and the branches and item types already in the system. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 18148] New: Chronological order for public lists in OPAC
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 09 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=18148 Bug ID: 18148 Summary: Chronological order for public lists in OPAC Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Searching Assignee: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com Reporter: alexandre.breton(a)ccsr.qc.ca QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Hi, Some librarians ask us to have public lists in chronological order rather than in alphabetical order because some schools will have to kept them there for a long time. This results in a big list with many pages on which is more difficult to find the good list. 1) Go in an OPAC interface 2) Go to "Lists" normally in top left corner 3) A small list appears from the top of the screen, observe that this list is by modification date (not alphabetical order) 4) Clic then on public lists 5) Observe that all lists created are in alphabetical order and their order cannot be changed We are wondering if it's possible to have some sorting options for the results list like in the staff client interface. There, you can change for chronological (modification or creation date) but also by owner order. Thanks for helping us, Alexandre from CCSR -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 16207] New: Incorporate circulation and fine rules for library groups
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 03 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=16207 Bug ID: 16207 Summary: Incorporate circulation and fine rules for library groups Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: System Administration Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: cbrannon(a)cdalibrary.org QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com I think we could simplify circulation and fine rules by incorporating library groups into the mix. For example, I have 27 libraries, and 8 of them follow the same set of rules that are different from the defaults. So, what if instead of cloning these special rules to 8 different libraries (and who knows how many other duplicated sets of rules there are), we defined a set of rules for a library group. If the library is part of that group, it goes by those rules. I don't know if we want to use the same library groups that are already defined in the libraries and groups, or if we want to create a unique Circ rule group. Because, there is always the chance that one or more of the libraries in the 8 that are grouped together by affiliation or region could have a slightly different set of rules. However, I think rules by groups would make managing rules far less complicated than managing groups of cloned rules. [Bug 18062] New: Damaged Status shows unavilable in results

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=18062 Bug ID: 18062 Summary: Damaged Status shows unavilable in results Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 3.22 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: OPAC Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: jzairo(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org When performing a search in the OPAC or staff client and the results include an item that is marked "Damaged" the status shows unavailable on the results page. When you view the detailed view of the record, the item appears as available. Although the item can still be checked out, it is confusing for the patron when they see the unavailable status. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 21173] New: Run auto item modifications by age every hour and set the item age unit to hours
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 29 Aug '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=21173 Bug ID: 21173 Summary: Run auto item modifications by age every hour and set the item age unit to hours Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Tools Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: alexbuckley(a)catalyst.net.nz QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Make auto item modification by age cronjob run more often than once daily. Setting this cronjob to run every hour will be set in the /etc/cron.hourly/koha-common. However 2 further changes to the automatic item modification tool to make an hourly running cronjob useful. 1. Be able to set the age of the item in hours not just days. This is so an hourly cronjob has items to alter because items will exceed the age limit more frequently than if the item age is in hours. 2. Give the user the choice of what the age starting point (time from which the age of the item is calculated) used in the cronjob is. The two possible age starting points that users have to choose between are: * Item creation (this is the age starting point in master currently) * Item last altered This is so items whic have been in the catalogue for a while can still be affected by the automatic item modification by age cronjob. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
