[Bug 30557] New: Add ability to create Item lists
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 30 Oct '26

30 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=30557 Bug ID: 30557 Summary: Add ability to create Item lists Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 21.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Lists Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: estherm(a)sodaspringsid.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl This is relevant for multi-branch installations. Lists currently appear to be primarily bibliographic lists. This creates a problem when sorting lists by call number. In this scenario there may be multiple items from different libraries using different call number schema attached to a single bibliographic record. The list cannot be sorted accurately by call number. It would be helpful if there was an option for an item based list. In this scenario items are added to a list for a specific branch. The call number sort will then sort correctly because the call number schema will be consistent for the branch. An item list would display the same information as a bibliographic list with the exception of additional branches which may also have the item. A typical use case would a library creating an item list, sort by call number, and then use that list to go to the shelf to pull the items in order. This is currently not possible in a multi-branch installation without a bit of work. It would require downloading the list and then cleaning up the list to be useful for this kind of work. It may be possible to create a report that will do this, but it would be a nice added functionality in the List tool. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 27512] New: Block creation of invalid authorised values for LOST, NOTFORLOAN, DAMAGED, RESTRICTED, and WITHDRAWN

Bug 24288 adds text to the screen to tell you about these limits, but doesn't enforce them. It'd be good to just stop a user from saving a value that won't work. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

Configurability is desired, so that it is possible to choose which library is recorded. Options could be customer's home library, issuing library and item's home library. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 39160] New: Mojolicious::Plugin::OAuth2 is loaded suboptimally

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39160 Bug ID: 39160 Summary: Mojolicious::Plugin::OAuth2 is loaded suboptimally Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: trivial Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: dcook(a)prosentient.com.au QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org This is a deep cut, but the following line is not optimal: $self->plugin( 'Mojolicious::Plugin::OAuth2' => $oauth_configuration ); Mojolicious will first try to load that as Mojolicious::Plugin::Mojolicious::Plugin::OAuth2 before it realises that we've already loaded Mojolicious::Plugin::OAuth2 earlier in Koha::REST::V1. I reckon that should say: $self->plugin( 'OAuth2' => $oauth_configuration ); -- In the grand scheme of things, it's not a big deal, but we can save ourselves 26 system calls by changing 1 line. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. Have Coce on, use 'https://coce.bywatersolututions.com' as the CoceProviders if needed. Select all providers 2. Turn on IntranetCoce and OpacCoce. 3. Do a OPAC search to retrieve some Coce images on both the OPAC results page and detail. 4. Do the same search and look at the same detail pages in the staff client. [Bug 38181] New: Extreme slow search results on OPAC (only) search when result records contain multiple items.
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 29 Oct '26

29 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38181 Bug ID: 38181 Summary: Extreme slow search results on OPAC (only) search when result records contain multiple items. Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 24.05 Hardware: All OS: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Searching Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: kdask(a)altsol.gr QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org When performing a search on the OPAC, if the results containing records that are having a large number of holdings (e.g serials with over 1000 issues/items or even less) there is a huge delay on showing the results (~x8 times slower for the same search if we remove the multiple items from the resulting records) The odd is that the exact same search on the intranet interface works without these delays so I'm guessing that this is a problem on the OPAC search implementation? The problem exists with zebra but also with the use of Elasticsearch engine. Using elasticsearch tried also removing all the item related indexes - 952* subfields (and re-indexing) but the result is the same. In the following google drive link you can find a demo bib record with 1809 items (MarcXML - Marc21) if it helps to reproduce it.https://drive.google.com/file/d/11SQmfdWal9tzcovS0mrgu6vIOPf1aCbc/view You will have to import the record, and then try searching for the title on OPAC: The Journal of biological chemistry. In my case with a decent server without load (Debian, 4cpu cores, 16gb RAM) with plack enabled takes about ~50sec to get the result. [Bug 36506] New: Processing Fee should be configurable by branch

[Bug 38948] New: Modal error on some pages: Can't access property "backdrop"
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 29 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38948 Bug ID: 38948 Summary: Modal error on some pages: Can't access property "backdrop" Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P5 - low Component: Templates Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: oleonard(a)myacpl.org QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Depends on: 35402 I know I've seen this in more than one place, but I've just confirmed that it appears in the console on the item add/edit page: Uncaught TypeError: can't access property "backdrop", this._config is undefined _initializeBackDrop http://127.0.0.1:8081/intranet-tmpl/lib/bootstrap/bootstrap.bundle.min_24.1… On http://127.0.0.1:8081/intranet-tmpl/lib/bootstrap/bootstrap.bundle.min_24.1… <anonymous> http://127.0.0.1:8081/intranet-tmpl/prog/js/cookieconsent_24.1200003.js:20 <anonymous> http://127.0.0.1:8081/intranet-tmpl/prog/js/cookieconsent_24.1200003.js:197 bootstrap.bundle.min_24.1200003.js:6:52582 I think it's new since the Bootstrap 5 upgrade. Some web searches turn up information like "The problem is that the Modal has not been loaded into the DOM at this stage and therefore is undefined when the getElementById action is performed. The solution was to wait until the DOM is loaded." This would make sense considering the add/edit item page is one of those pages where the JS is loaded at the top of the page rather than the bottom.
