Hmm, I don't know the rationale behind the change -- I suppose it is for ease of programming --, but I will be one who will be "voting against it" (if my vote counts). It is better (from an accessibility point of view) to remove the dependency on Javascript instead of to strengthen it. By removing I don't mean all checks must be done on server side; my ideal web app would use Javascript checks if Javascript is there, but fall back on a server-side check if there's no Javascript. We can code the checks in something other than perl & Javascript, and generate both the real Javascript and Perl code at "install time". IMHO, an open-source web app should take care to cater to text-browser users (e.g., they might be blind). acquisitions in 1.3.2

Hi, are aquisitions-top.inc and aquisitions-bottom.inc still used? It is in the 1.3.2 tarball, but I suppose acquisitions-top.inc and acquisitions-bottom.inc should have replaced them. Somehow, the list of commonly-used system parameters (which was in the last RC) seem to have disappeared from the system parameters setting page. I now have to figure out how to reenable simple acquisitions... BTW, is the full acquisition supposed to be functional? I always only get a strangely formatted page with two search boxes; I thought that I saw this because my web server (Caudium) was not supported, but now that I tried to install it on Apache, I still am seeing what I saw. Question about koha's manual translation

Where is the manual stored? is it the CVS or not? How can I begin to translate it? I must read it so I think my time we'll better used if I translate it as I read it.

In an OPAC, the borrower can search for a book, reserve it, and see it's status (the reader page) if he/she's identified. It's in port 80 on default installation. * librarian/8080 port is the librarian access. In it, you can do anything/everything. * OPAC is not a koha-specific term. Everybody in librarian world uses it. A third word is often used, it's "web catalog".
