A difference in speed in accessing the REST API

Hi, I'm running a Koha instance on version 23.05.12 (package install) on Debian 11.10. I've able to access the REST api using HTTP Basic authentication successfully. However, I am noticing the following issues: 1. API documentation - $protocol://$domain/api/v1/.html is accessible only with http as the protocol. but I'm getting a 403 error if I try to use https 2. Speed of access - (a) When I'm accessing an endpoint e.g. $protocol://$domain/api/v1/patrons/1/account using http, it is blazing fast - typically it returns the result within an average of 150 ms or 0.15 sec. (b) When I'm trying to do the same using https, the average time is 9500 ms or 9.5 sec I'm using a single LE cert for both the opac and the staff-client. Can anyone point me to what I may be missing? thank you Shibani Chowdhury (she / her)

Connecting OCLC Tipasa to Koha (using NCIP)

Hi Koha community, We were wondering, has anyone in the community looked at connecting OCLC's Tipasa to Koha using NCIP? The purpose of this would be so libraries do not have to manage Inter-Library Loans (ILL) in two different places: Tipasa and Koha. A few years ago, we got an NCIP server running alongside Koha. However, OCLC noted they needed to undertake development work before NCIP integration with Koha would work. OCLC has already implemented NCIP integration with Alma, Horizon, Millennium, Sierra and Symphony: https://help.oclc.org/Resource_Sharing/Tipasa/Third-party_integrations/Thir… We would be interested to hear if anyone else has looked at, or talked with OCLC, about doing this integration? It is highly recommended to upgrade. Problem on koha-translate

Hello guys, Laurent, our sysadmin just upgraded the translate server, but something went wrong and we now have a "bad gateway". Laurent has no idea what happened and why the server does not restart. Who can help him ? Bug 23685 - Exporting report may consume unlimited memory

Hi, Running guided_reports.pl with large sets of records and especially using ODS format for export may cause serious memory issues etc. How to proceed? Please have a look at this report and let us know what you think about the right approach ? Thank you. Marcel
