Uploading deletion batch from ebrary to Koha

Hi, I'm trying to upload a deletion batch from ebrary to our Koha LMS, this batch changes the records status in the leader tag to "d" delete, which used to delete the bib records using our old library system "Dynix" after indexing. But now in Koha it do change the status but without deleting the bib records even after indexing, am I missing something? Please help as I have like 400+ eBooks need to be deleted. I'm using Koha 3.10.04. Kohacon13 hackfest: presenting deployement & project management

Hi all, There's something I think should we worth sharing: how does support companies manage Koha project & Koha deployement (who do what, when, which usual timing, ...) I'm volunteer to explain how we, at BibLibre do. I think 15mn could be enough for every company : 10mn presenting + 5mn QA. Maybe other companies could do that as well. about patronimages and photo of borrowers

Hi, I've a question: When i enabled the system preferences "patronimages", photo of borrower can be imported in koha but 1)where these photos are located in koha? 2)where i have to define the source where i dowload photos? 3)How is made the link between the borrower and his photo (all the borrowers com from our ldap)? Bug 8367: Add more granular level for ReservesMaxPickUpDelay

Hey! I'm trying to fix the bug 8367: add more granular level for reserves max pick up delay. I've got a problem when i try to apply this fix: I log in in bugzila and to apply it I see in diff the differences between the original code and the one I have to modify. The thing is, the original code that bugzila indicates is not exactly the same code I've got in my koha. I don't think it works 'cause, for example, there are some code lines I have to erase but in my koha they don't even exist. I guess that's dued to the koha version I'm using (3.6.7.) . I wanted to know if there's any way to apply this bug to the 3.6.7. version, since that's the one we use in my library. Thank you so much, Regards, Ernesto Arias

Error "Unknown column overduefinescap in issuingrules" updating to 3.08.17.000

Tried to upgrade koha using git and encountered the following error when accessing koha web interface: Web installer > Step 3 Updating database structure Update report : . Upgrade to 3.08.16.002 done (Bug 10490: Correct datatype for overduefinescap in issuingrules) . Upgrade to 3.08.17.000 done (3.8.17 release) Update errors : . [Fri Aug 30 11:28:52 2013] updatedatabase.pl: DBD::mysql::db do failed: Unknown column 'overduefinescap' in 'issuingrules' at /home/koha/kohaclone/installer/data/mysql/updatedatabase.pl line 5391. OAI-PMH Harvester

Hi all: As some might know, I've been working on an OAI-PMH harvester client for Koha using the same HTTP::OAI packages that we use to make Koha an OAI-PMH repository server. The idea is that you point Koha to the URL of a OAI-PMH compliant data source (my testing source is Koha but my production source will hopefully be DSpace), and then it uses the OAI-PMH protocol to import records. While some repositories export marcxml, the quality I've noticed hasn't been that great, so I prefer to import Dublin core and transform it into MARC21 using XSLTs. However, YMMV on this point. In any case, the harvester sends an HTTP request, receives the records in an OAI-PMH wrapper, the records are transformed to MARCXML as needed, they're staged for import, they're matched against previous OAI-PMH imports, then they stay waiting for manual intervention or are automatically committed to the database. It's still a work in progress, but I've posted my most up to date work on Bugzilla with some description, a test plan, and a unit test to run. Even if you just apply it and check if the unit test works, that would be great. Any input is welcome : ). Hi, the links to bugs on dashboard page are not working except for Needs Signoff and Random bug On other columns, Last 5, Needs QA and New features the bug number is ok, but the link has <% entry.1 %>, <% entry.0 %> and <% enhancement.0 %> respectively.
