Hi, Following the discussion on bug 9071, I modified the coding guidelines on [1] and [2] to make IGNORE mandatory when adding a syspref. @QAers, please make sure you agree with this and it will apply to further patches. Regarding SMS Service in Koha

Hello Sir/Madam I am running my koha on ubuntu 12.04 and i am working on SMS service for sending notices in koha. i have an API of SMS service provider in Pakistan but can't integrate it with koha. i have install almost all driver regarding *SMS::Send *driver used by koha but not worked. DVD cover from Amazon

Hi, assuming that the EAN (barcode: not an ISBN) on a motion picture's DVD should be entered in 024$a (Other Standard Identifier), is it possible to have Amazon's cover for that DVD displayed, as is the case when a (valid) ISBN is entered in 020$a for a monograph (book)? In other words, would it be possible to associate AmazonCoverImages and OPACAmazonCoverImages option also to a non-empty 024$a MARC field? I've posted this message earlier on the users' list, but it's probably a "new feature request", rather than a request for help on usage. Item records not available after migration

Hello, I have just installed koha 3.14 on Redhat and migrated my records from koha 3.12 on Ubuntu to it. After importing and managing staged MARC records my system confirmed to me that i had 45420 records and 38529 items. But each time i search my OPAC (from both staff end and user interface) i do not see my item records, what could be the problem? I really need help please! Akpokodje Vera N. RFC Looking for feedback

Hey all! I'm looking to get feedback on this enhancement before proceeding with development: http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=13937 Some libraries have found that Koha doesn't work well with some external services like SHAREit that utilize z39.50 to get information about a record and its' items. a) We propose to add field 'status' to items table ( this field can be mapped to whatever MARC tag you wish ) b) Engineer a subroutine that would generate the item's status The precedence for status would be as follows: 1) Checked Out 2) Lost 3) Not for Loan 4) Damaged 5) On Hold ( In Transit ) 6) In Transit 7) On Hold This status could eventually be used within Koha to simplify our status display logic, but that is outside the immediate scope of this enhancement. http://www.kylehall.info ByWater Solutions ( http://bywatersolutions.com ) Meadville Public Library ( http://www.meadvillelibrary.org ) Crawford County Federated Library System ( http://www.ccfls.org )
