Roadmap 25.05 - Let's try something new!

Hi all, as proposed at the last development meeting I'd like to make some changes to how we handle the roadmap this release cycle: . Release deadlines and dates have been set and published on the wiki. . Try to have 3 sprints by 3 weeks each where we focus on a community chosen and driven project. What do you need to do now? . Add your community sprint project proposals to the wiki! . Add your other development projects to the wiki. Koha 24.11.00 is here!

The Koha community is proud to announce the release of Koha 24.11.00. Koha 24.05.00 is a major release that comes with many new features. It includes 10 new features, 184 enhancements, and 647 bugfixes. Invalid value "0000-00-00 00:00:00" in field "borrowers.updated_on" with LDAP

Hi In an installation of Koha 24.05.03 I am successfully authenticating against an LDAP server which is writing the data of the authenticating user into the Koha database. But as soon as I search for the added user in the staff client I get the message: "500: Internal Server Error. Month out of range." This is because table field "borrowers.updated_on" is automatically filled with the value "0000-00-00 00:00:00". I am aware of bug https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=31143 (We should attempt to fix/identify all cases where '0000-00-00' may still remain in the database) but of course it is not possible to manually change the value of field "borrowers.updated_on" from "0000-00-00 00:00:00" to NULL every time a user successfully logs into the OPAC. So I tried to set the value of "borrowers.updated_on" by using lines like the following, but unfortunately they all resulted in the invalid value "0000-00-00 00:00:00". <updated_on is="">NULL</updated_on> <updated_on is="potato"></updated_on> <updated_on is="">2024-11-18 00:00:00</updated_on> How can I prevent Koha filling in this invalid value when authenticating against LDAP and instead generate a NULL value? Mailinglist "koha" does not accept e-mails from kohanews@gmail.com

Hi - to whom it may concern On 28 October I tried to send the e-mail about the current Koha newsletter as usual from the address kohanews(a)gmail.com to both mailinglists "koha" and "koha-devel", but it appeared only in "koha-devel". I also tried to reach the maintainers of list "koha" (as given at the end of page https://lists.katipo.co.nz/mailman/listinfo/koha) but to no avail, so far I didn't get any response. The same happened today with the e-mail concerning the current call for news for the next newsletter - mailinglist "koha-devel" accepted it, but it never appeared in mailinglist "koha".
