KOCT expected behaviors

Hi devs, Two similar reports about the KOCT plugin: * Bug 21494 - No checkin notice created for offline circulation checkins * Bug 15751 - Koha offline circulation Firefox addon does not update last seen date for check-ins When a checkin is done, MarkIssueReturned will be called (not AddReturn) which has some side-effects, like what is described in those 2 bug reports. But, using AddReturn will change behaviors, which may be unexpected. For instance, do we want the checkin to be forced, without doing the usual checks (current behavior), or we want it to be blocked? There is a lot of things that is not done when an item is checked in via KOCT, no idea what we expect or not. Any ideas? Update misc4dev (Fix cannot login in Koha/master)

Hi devs, A new patch breaks the creation of a superlibrarian (actually its password) in the misc4dev repo. If you are using a kohadevbox you should update the koha-misc4dev repo. If you are using a docker container, you can update it as well or wait for the new images to be generated, then pull them. Docker Registry for Koha Community for koha-testing-docker?

Hi all (and especially Tomas), What would people think about the Koha Community hosting its own Docker Registry rather than relying on Docker Hub? I have no issues with Docker Hub, but as a community we like to run our own infrastructure and I was thinking this might be a nice one to in-house? GitLab added its own container registry, so we could turn that on for https://gitlab.com/koha-community/koha-testing-docker. Then it would just be a case of updating the docker-compose.yml to point to the Gitlab based Registry. I've started using the Gitlab container registry for a separate Docker project, and it seems decent so far. Anyway, just a thought I had that I thought I'd share. Koha 19.11.00 Released

Hello everyone, It is my great pleasure to be able to announce the release and immediate availability of Koha 19.11, a major release of the Koha open source integrated library system. The release includes 7 security fixes, 20 new features, 146 enhancements and 367 bugfixes. My thanks go out to all who contributed. This is my first release as a release manager and I'd like to extend my personal thanks to those who preceded me and helped guide me. errors in mysql log files

Hello, i found errors in the mysql log files. The server has koha 19.05.04, debian 10 and mariadb 10.3.18 installed. The log file is attached. I found out in mysql forums that it is related to the InnoDB engine limiting the row size to 8K. Some workarounds are related, such as in https://stackoverflow.com/questions/15585602/change-limit-for-mysql-row-siz… but i don't know the implications for koha. Have you noticed these errors ? Any idea ? Thank you !
