Error 303 Wrong CSRF token

We have been using Koha for about 1-1/2 years now but we don’ consider ourselves Koha experts. I upgraded our Koha development environment system from 23.05.11 to 24.05.00 last week. It is running in an Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS (5.15.0-112-generic #122-Ubuntu SMP) in an AMD virtual machine. The system has a 40G disk with 15G available. It has a duplicate of our Koha production install. After enabling the ERM module and adding a couple of test licenses, etc. The next time I attempted to login to the staff interface I got an Error 303 “The form submission failed (Wrong CSRF token). Try to come back, refresh the page, then try again.” I have cleared the cache browser (on all browsers), rebooted the system - no change. If I login using the OPAC interface and then open a new window to the staff interface, without quiting the browser, it succeeds since I don’t have to login. All of this behavior occurs regardless of the whether I use Firefox, Chrome, or Safari. The Apache and Koha logs do not show any problem. I am an experienced Linux system administrator and developer. I can read and write PERL but don’t consider myself a PERL expert. Is there a way to turn on more logging, specific things to try? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Bug 32132 during upgrade from Koha 23.11 to 24.05

Dear All, Wishing you a good day. I am trying to upgrade from Koha 23.11 to 24.05 on Ubuntu. After the successful installation of Koha and the Web Installer screen, i get the following message; I believe during MySQL upgrade. Upgrade to 23.12.00.023 [12:32:00]: Bug 32132 - Set aqbudgets.budget_period_id as NOT NULL ERROR: {UNKNOWN}: DBI Exception: DBD::mysql: b do failed: Cannot change column 'budget_period_id': used in a foreign key constraint 'aqbudgetperiods_ibfk_1' at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Installer.pm line 741 I can see in the release notes of 24.05 that this bug has been resolved. Failed update to Koha 24.05.00: Unknown column 'item_id' in 'bookings'

Hi I just tried to update my Koha demo installation from 23.11.00 to 24.05.00 but the process failed with the following message: Upgrade to 23.12.00.044 [13:48:09]: Bug 36120 - Add pickup location to bookings ERROR - {UNKNOWN}: DBI Exception: DBD::mysql::db do failed: Unknown column 'item_id' in 'bookings' at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Installer.pm line 741 How can this problem be solved? In Koha 23.11 the new table "bookings" looks as follows: MariaDB [koha_koha]> describe bookings; +----------------+------------+------+-----+---------+----------------+ | Field | Type | Null | Key | Default | Extra | +----------------+------------+------+-----+---------+----------------+ | bookingid | int(11) | NO | PRI | NULL | auto_increment | | borrowernumber | int(11) | NO | MUL | NULL | | | roomid | int(11) | NO | MUL | NULL | | | start | datetime | NO | | NULL | | | end | datetime | NO | | NULL | | | blackedout | tinyint(1) | NO | | 0 | | +----------------+------------+------+-----+---------+----------------+ But https://schema.koha-community.org/23_11/tables/bookings.html shows a quite different configuration using some different column names. There ist no https://schema.koha-community.org/24_05/tables/bookings.html yet. For now I have rolled back the snapshot I have taken before trying the update. 24.05 Bug freeze / String freeze

Hi all, as of today, we are in String freeze. This means we will try to avoid any changes that would affect translations. We will also be more cautious about any other patch included in this version, so less critical bug fixes might also be held back for a later maintenance release. Translators please translate! Many thanks for the feedback from the early translators, which helped us to spot some issues and fix them just in time! Katrin
