Good morning. As threatened, I am asking the Translation Manager to provide a pull request for the PO files to me on Saturday, May 18, so please get your translations in before then. It looks like we have about 22 languages that are actively being translated, of which 2 are completed, and 12 are within 10% of done. If you are trying to get your language to 100% finished, now would be a good time for a sprint. We also have three languages for which we are waiting for uploads (I think): Catalan, Czech, and Kurdish Sorani. If you have the PO files for these languages to upload, please make sure you do so by Friday. display borrowers categories (3.12)

Hi, I've made a test with koha 3.12. Some categories of borrowers (like "employe" or "faculty") can't be displayed. The others are ok, except these two categories. An idea? Best regards, samuel

question rebase / git

Hi, As i'm not expert on git, i've a question. When i want to rebase to v3.12.00-rc2, i 've this "it looks git-am is in progress, can't rebase" Can i solve it by doing a rm -rf .git/rebase-apply ? Best regards, Samuel

Bugzilla 1993: Task Scheduler Needs Re-write

I set my SELinux temporarily to Permissive. I can add a job, but there is another security issue. At job run time, I receive the mail: This account is currently not available. Why? Because my apache user is not allowed to login. So the job cannot be run, although it is allowed via at.allow etc. This brings me to a more important question: Should we encourage Koha users to allow login for apache user to make use of the Task Scheduler? Note that is a general Apache hardening measure to not allow interactive login for the apache user. IMO we (as Koha developers) should not stimulate Koha users to lower security barriers to enable Koha functionality. Another approach to the Task Scheduler could be to have a specific cronjob, look for Koha reports to run at specified times without allowing apache to add generic jobs with all security risks attached.. Moving this report to In Discussion. Will send a mail to the dev list.

Hi All It's that time again, string freeze for 3.10.x and 3.8.x in preparation for the 3.10.6 and 3.8.13 releases. Could the translation manager please update the po files and email the list when it's ready for translators to start going. Thanks very much Chris (Your retiring Release Maintainer)

Koha 3.12.0 release candidate TWO

That's right, folks! We had so much fun this morning, that we're repeating the exercise this evening! A second release candidate, this one with updated translation files is available for your testing pleasure on download.koha-community.org. Get it while it's hot, before I decide to upload a third release candidate! For those of you who installed rc1, there is only one additional bugfix: bug 10030 ("MaxFines checks against amount, not amount outstanding"). The major change for this release candidate is the updating of the PO files, so that people can test 3.12 with properly localized installations. Please take it for a spin, and report (or, even better, fix!) any bugs that you might find.
