July 16th git errors

I was reading the threads today and a couple of these may have been resolved, but needed to check what I need to do in order to fix them. I will download the git again tonight to see if they are resolved. When I ran Makefile.PL - I received the following warnings - July 16th at about 11 pm Central time. *Warning prerequisite Algorithm::CheckDigits 0.5 not found. We have unknown version. *Warning prerequisite Image::Magick 6.2 not found *Warning prerequisite MIME::Lite 3 not found >From what I have read today the MIME lite may have been resolved. Just checking on the other 2 items and what I have missed in my git updates... Sorry if this was documented and I missed it in the many releases. Bug in "undo import" in Tools - MARC Import (managing batches)

Hi to all, I have found a bug in the "undo import" function avible in Tools - MARC Import (managing batches). I'm working in a NoZebra setup and I think it is relevant. I don't find this bug in http://bugs.koha.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/index.cgi OS: Linux Debian etch Version of Koha: last git version MySQL: 5.0 Apache: 2.0 If Import a record into the official catalogue and after I delete the imported record with the function "undo import", the record is deleted from the db but in the indexes the pointers to the records are still present. So, if I do a search with a keyword of the deleted record I see this error: <div class="error"> <h4>Error:</h4> Can't call method "as_usmarc" on an undefined value at /var/donw/kohaclone/kohaclone2/C4/Search.pm line 2078. </div> If I lanch the script ../misc/migration_tools/rebuild_nozebra.pl, the problem is over. I don't know if it is blocking bug, only librarian works with batch imports. I suggest to comment the function "undo import" and to re-insert it into 3.2 with a delete also on indexes, with attention on Zebra and NoZebra setup. Now Koha reports no warning with regard to missing perl modules but reports an error when I run perl Makefile.PL (the details given below) - ----------------------------------------------------- Checking if your kit is complete... In fact my suggestion is only about the file install.debian Reading the paragraph 1.6 the user undesrstood: "With this command on CPAN I have installed all perl modules that I need". But it is not true, The check on all modules is done on paragraph 3 I think is difficult to mantain different install files and be exact on this particular topic. So i suggest those changes in install.debian: 1.6 Install basic Perl dependencies that aren't packaged into Debian Etch sources Run the following command: [snip CPAN install command] and in paragraph 3 the installer check *all* of the perl modules here and explain that any missing ones can be gotten from CPAN So we can write in paragraph 3: 3. install.debian and MIME::Lite

Hi to all, using the last git download, MIME::Lite is a module mandatory now. I see this module in all the correct places but not in the file install.debian. In the file install.debian I see (rows108-113): 1.6 Install Perl dependencies that aren't packaged into Debian Etch source Run the following command: $ sudo cpan MARC::Record Class::Accessor MARC::Charset MARC::File::XML \ Net::Z3950::ZOOM HTML::Template::Pro MARC::Crosswalk::DublinCore \ PDF::Reuse PDF::Reuse::Barcode Data::ICal GD::Barcode::UPCE \ XML::RSS Algorithm::CheckDigits::M43_001 Biblio::EndnoteStyle POE Schedule::At My question is: Do we want to mantain this list ? SIP 2 Devises.

We are beginning to consider Koha as a replacement for our current ILS. However, we have a few devises that concern me as the systems person, 4 3M SelfCheck systems, Envissionware's PCReserve, and Overdrive. Do any of you out there use these devices or services and if so have you had and configuration problems? Question RE: Purpose of 'Actual Cost' field in Acquisitions

I had this discussion with Josh: Josh - "Well, based on a test I just did, it doesn't ignore actual cost, but uses it as the actual cost of a single item when receiving the shipment (not the Total, but the per item cost). Does that make sense?" Nicole - "Okay - I see what you mean - but what does Actual Cost actually mean? The cost it would have been if I didn't get a discount? The cost I actually paid (cause if that's it then the budgeting is wrong)? I see that it's there in the record after I receive an order ... just not sure why I need it at all when I have a replacement cost and a budgeted cost." Since we can't seem to figure this out among ourselves, I wanted to ask the community. Does anyone know what the Actual Cost field is supposed to be used for?
