The real problems are on the membership record (cgi-bin/koha/moremember.pl? bornum=13) and update member details (cgi-bin/koha/memberentry.pl )which are the regular individual members forms. I posted some questions about opac reserves the other day, and Paul answered some of them, but I'm still in the dark about others. The default template for opac-reserve.pl shows options for choosing 'reserve on this date' and 'end reserve on this date' values. But it doesn't look like those values are required, and even if they're specified, the data is entered into the database. Is this just old/unused stuff in the template? The vanilla template doesn't have those options. I wrote: > >It looks like a patron can't cancel or amend > their own reserves. Test of MJR's bugzilla summary script

Hi All In a couple of minutes there should be a post coming to the list, which is me testing a script to summarise the bugs recently added at bugs.koha.org If it works, and people like it, let me know and ill set it up to run as a cron job. Another question about member searches: If you search for 'smith, j' names returned will include: Smith, Brian J. Smith, Bobbi J. as well as: Smith, James Smith, Jacob I would expect the latter, but not the former. I assumed that the search was looking for first names *beginning with* J, not just including J as a keyword. I would consider the 'beginning with' search to be preferable. Do I understand the way it works correctly? What do others think? -- Owen
