This is the desired behavour for HLT. IE it works this way because thats how they want it to work. So when we rebuild the search module we will need a way to specify how we want searches to work. IE so that different libraries can specify how they want certain types of searches to work. I think it would be a great feature, and then we wouldnt be forcing libraries to use what 'we' think is the best method of searching, but instead what they want. The problem happens when a patron uses the online catalog to search for a title and then tries to reserve that title using the "reserve this title" button. I decide to choose from the list and put my request in as number 1. On the output under modify existing requests it says instead of Next Available "This type only JF".
