Order Details Page - what is the intent?

Hi - I'm looking at the Order Details page. (1.9.2) You can see it on the www.koha.org test drive. cgi-bin/koha/acqui/newbiblio.pl?ordnum=7&id=1&basket=6 (substitute your own order number, etc.) I have a few questions. Budgeted cost (NZ\$ ex GST, inc discount) I already wrote up a bug report about the NZD, but what I don't understand is the word budgeted. To me that means what I put in my budget - $20 for a book which I hope will cost less. And sometimes will cost more. It is in my budget not what the vendor charges me. Second question - it says inc discount. When I set up my vendor I was given the option to enter a discount amount (which can of course vary from item to item) but I don't understand if I have a fixed 15% discount from my vendor and I'm using a computer why I would have to calculate what list price less 15% is. It would be nice to have a field to add the discount for this particular item. Again budgeted GST - which of course should be changed to just Tax - and actually is calculated for me on the next page (but not in the percentage that I want which I have a bug report on). Then there is budgeted total which doesn't seem to affect anything. So I am curious how this is supposed to work? I agree. The questions and discussions in the developers list have been overwhelmed by all the bugzilla activity. I noticed yesterday that there was a lot of technical discussion on the regular mailing list. However, it is really important for all management and developers (not just those who are actively fixing or tracking bugs) to be aware of what is happening on bugzilla - what is broken/what has been fixed plus there are issues and questions raised on the bug reports about the direction of Koha. I could do a summary every couple of days. Depending on the library, the librarian might request that the patron come to the library with proof of change of address or change of name. I would imagine that things like change of email or work phone would be entered without contacting the patron again. If it were my library I would only have things that could be updated without verification such as email or work telephone available on the OPAC (and have those go directly to the database) and a notice that the patron needs to come in with required proofs for other changes.
